• Daffy Duck : [the widow threatens to 'pluck every feather off Daffy's scrawny carcass' if he doesn't take Wentworth to the zoo. When Daffy finally bails on them, it's revealed that she's done just that]  Daffy: No sir. No body is telling this little black duck what to do.

• Daffy Duck : GImme that gun! Don't you know that shooting is dangerous for small squabs like you? Especially you. If there's going to be any shooting to be done, let an expert do it.

  [steps up to the shooting gallery] 

  Daffy Duck : Watch this. Daffy Oakley's the name. Keep your eye on the red bullseye.

  [as Daffy shoots, Wentworth hits the carnival barker on the back of his head with a slingshot] 

  Carnival Barker : Say, watch where you're shooting, bub!

  Daffy Duck : Oh, he-he. It must have ricocheted. Now, Wentworth, just watch me pick off that big moose with the silly-looking puss.

  [Daffy fires, Wentworth hits the barker again] 

  Carnival Barker : Listen, duck! Plunk me once more, and it's your last plunk!

  [Daffy eyes Wentworth suspiciously] 

  Daffy Duck : [without firing]  Bang! Pling!

  [Wentworth hits the barker again; Daffy points at Wentworth, but the barker just punches him anyway] 

• Mrs. Daffy : Ah shut up! Or I'll slap your mouth clean off of your face!

  Daffy Duck : I'd like to see ya!

  [Mrs. Daffy slaps Daffy's beak off his face] 

  Daffy Duck : I see ya.

• Daffy Duck : Sufferin' succotash! What's that?

  Mrs. Daffy : Um, I forgot to tell you. That's my little son Wentworth.

  [Sternly] 

  Mrs. Daffy : Don't you think he's kinda cute?

  Daffy Duck : Yeah, cute like a stomach pump.
