Sidney Skolsky wrote in his column "Movie Gossip from Hollywood" that ever since the crew saw the daily rushes of the film, they began calling Yvonne De Carlo "Yvonne De Technicolor" because she looked so beautiful in Technicolor. Hollywood cameramen eventually gave her the title of "Queen of Technicolor" three years in a row.
