War-propaganda?
Haplo-418 May 1999
This movie is about Sweden in the mid 18th century. Gustaf III is king and the Russians are plotting against him so they can get him of the throne and thereby conquer Sweden. The movie is made in 1944 - during the bloody fighting in Europe and therefor I think there is a bit of propaganda in this movie.

"Russians do not come here because the Swedish people stands united against you. You can not defeat us. The Swedish spirit is to high."

The acting performances are good. And there is quite a bit of fencing. But it is not an action movie. I rather call it a love-a-little-action-but-lot-of-laugh-movie.
