"The Screen Guild Theater" broadcast a 30 minute radio adaptation of the movie on February 5, 1945 with Judy Canova and Joe E. Brown reprising their film roles.
Judy Canova was one of America's most popular "hillbilly singers" of the 1940s and 50s. She starred in her own radio program for more than a decade, while also making a series of hayseed musical comedies, many of which proved to be money-makers for Poverty Row studios.
