Argentina's independence wars - The unknown side
mmaggi27 April 1999
This is an epic movie who relates a part of our history. The independence war against spanish crown was not only fought by Argentina's (new) regular combat forces but by many common people: the "gauchos" (creoles) who, poor armed (and many times unarmed), faces the enemy using "guerrilla" tactics. This people was hunted, tortured and killed but they goes-on with this invincible freedom ideals. The movie has the best cast ever joined for those years. The footage and black & white photograpy are excellent as well as the plot. Some actors may seems over-acted for actual concepts, but the movie itself becames in a symbol of the Argentina´s movies "golden age".

PD: Sorry if the syntaxis or some expressions are incorrect. I had to recover my rusty english.
