- Regan is passing off counterfeit money at rodeos betting on his man Denby. When Tex appears and wins all the events, Regan has him accused of murder. As Tex looks for the counterfeiters, his pals Stubby and Pee Wee keep the Sheriff off his trail.—Maurice VanAuken <mvanauken@a1access.net>
- Tex Lansing (Tex Ritter) wins all the events at the Prairie City Rodeo, defeating Pete Denby (Charles King). He entrusts his prize winnings to his sidekicks, Pee Wee ('Snub' Pollard) and Stubby (Horace Murphy), while he goes off courting Gail Hawthorne (Anne Evers), the proprietress of a pin-game at the rodeo's fair grounds. Tex later stops his pals from losing all his money, unknown to him to be counterfeit money, in a crooked game run by Nat Regan (Karl Hackett), already mad at Tex for winning all the prize money while Regan was betting on Denby. A brawl begins and Regan shoots and kills gambler Clem Brooks (W.E. Lawrence), and pins the murder on Tex. The latter now has to clear himself of both a murder and counterfeiting charge.—Les Adams <longhorn1939@suddenlink.net>
