- Marshal Preston heads for lawless Green Valley. Danti sends his men to kill him but they get the wrong man. Preston pins his badge on the dead man and tells the killers he is the outlaw Two-Gun Gardner. - With the discovery of gold in Green Valley a crime wave involving robbery and ruthless murders sweep the town. Heading the gang of outlaws is Jim Danti (Warner Richmond), a fearless gunman. When his young son is killed, "Dad" Moran goes to the state government in Mento County to enlist the aid of the law and enters the state marshals office when Marshal Jack Preston is releasing "Two-Gun" Gardner (Earle Dwire), a killer, after he has served his jail sentence. Preston's last word to Gardner are "If I ever see you in this state, I'l take you again." Preston is assigned to go the Green Valley and clean the town up. Accompained by his pal Grizzly Ike (George Cooper), Preston goes to Green Valley posing as Gardner and manages to impress Danti with his gun prowess. He tells Danti he lifted the State Marshal badge from a man shot down by Breed (Ed Brady), a Danti henchman, who thought the murdered cowboy was Marshal Preston. Jean Porter, owner of the stagecoach line, approaches Preston asking for his help because Danti, who thinks he is Gardner told him to pose as Preston. Jean tells Preston she is about to make carry a gold shipment. Meanwhile Grissly, following a plan by Preston, goes to the saloon and boasts of his toughness to Danti and Breed. Preston comes in and the outlaws are surprised to find Preston and Grizly are friends, and Grizzly is made a member of the gang. Preston tells Danti that he and Grizzly will load the stagecoach and Dantis gang can hod it up when it gets out of town. The plan is to catch Danti with evidence of his lawlessness. Prior to the departure of the stagecoach, they unload the gold. But Jean, unaware of the plan, thinks Preston is a gang member and tells him she has sent word that he has double-crossed the town. Meanwhile, Gardner has come to town and and told Danti who Preston really is. Preston now has both the good guys and the bad guys gunning for him.—Les Adams <longhorn1939@suddenlink.net>
