Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • Butch Long is a mean, intimidating villain, who vows that if he ever gets out of jail, he will hunt down Stan and Ollie, who got him arrested, and threatens to break off their legs and wrap them around their neck. At the short's end, he carries out his promise. However, it's all done in a comical light, as we see Stan and Ollie on the sofa, their legs tied around their necks, as Ollie blames Stan for "another fine mess" he's gotten him into.
  • Ollie gets his head caught between the railings on the foot of the bed and Stan has to pull him out.
  • A wood frame hits Ollie on the head.
  • The doorbell at Mae's shorts out and hits Ollie on the head.
  • Butch gets himself locked in a trunk. In an effort to get him out, Stan bores a hole and accidentally spears Butch in the rear.
  • When using a blowtorch, the boys shoot a big flame through the hole which gets Butch in the rear.
