According to TCM, Director Lita Lawrence, is thought to be a pioneer of the film industry, as not only was she one of the first women Directors, but it is also believed this is the first film directed by a woman of color, unfortunately, very little is known about her. This is her only known film.
This film has been preserved by the Library of Congress.
Coincident with the film playing in Butte, Montana in October of 1927, the town held a contest to pick the three most perfect babies. Local physicians acted as judges to choose the three babies in the best health. All contestants had to be under 18 months old.
