Sex & Nudity

  • At the very beginning of the movie, Nanon in the circus has her clothes cut off to reveal a bikini-like top and tight shorts. She remains in this outfit for a little while.
  • Two men try to reach for Nanon, telling her that they each love her. She admits she is afraid of men's hands. The implication is that she may have been sexually molested by some man in the past.
  • Alonzo says that he will get Nanon at any cost.

Violence & Gore

  • Antonio beats Alonzo with a cane for showing interest in his daughter Nanon. At night, Alonzo strangles Nanon's father to death; through a window, Nanon is able to see the man with two thumbs, but not his face.
  • As a circus act a man without any arms shoots at a woman and then throws knives at her. She is unharmed.

  • A man who has been hiding his arms decided to have them removed by a doctor, we don't seen any of this but later a woman hugs the man and notices that he is skinnier and when she mentions it he says that he has lost some flesh.

  • A man is performing a stunt where he has his arms tied to two horses which are running in opposite directions. Each arm is tethered to a horse, but the horses are on treadmills so they won't pull off his arms. But then a man stops the treadmills and the horses do almost pull his arms off, but the horses are stopped and the man tied to the horses is unharmed, but the man who stopped the treadmill is stomped on by a horse and killed. We only see the horse coming down toward him we do not seem him crushed.
