Jack Mower is featured in the usual ranch mix-up with the owner for whom he acts as foreman. Several men who have been fired from the ranch by the hot tempered boss plan to hold him up for the bankroll he is carrying after selling some horses. Jack learns of the plot and sends word to the owner's wife to warn her. The rancher mistakes the purport of the note, and starts after Jack and rides right into the trap set by the outlaws. A cigarette carelessly thrown away starts a forest fire, and furnishes the highlight of the picture. It gives the hero a chance to do some snappy stunts in riding to the rescue of the rancher's wife, who has been captured by the gang. It is crowded with knockdown, drag out fights, and will please those who like their action western full of riding and fighting.
