Jackies Coogan's Film Debut ?
PamelaShort10 January 2015
Warning: Spoilers
This third entry in the Skinner's films that were produced by the Essanay Film Manufacturing Company, continued with a comical easy storyline. Skinner ( Bryant Washburn ) feels there is definitely something lacking in his own happy little household, a baby. Very soon his wife Honey ( Hazel Daly ) announces she is expecting and Skinner is sure it will be the next William Skinner Jr and will become President one day, so he eagerly begins preparations for his son to be. While at work one day he is notified that Skinner Jr. has arrived, and a very jubilant Skinner rushes out and buys every toy a little boy would love. When he finally arrives to the hospital, he soon discovers Skinner Jr. is a baby girl, but Honey and he are just as happy with having a new female addition to the family ..

The survival status of this film is currently listed as unknown. Hopefully a copy resurfaces as it is documented that Jackie Coogan made his film debut in Skinner's Baby at the age of three, however his role is uncredited.
