Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • The Battle of the scene shows all of the Alamo Defenders being killed, including Davy Crockett, Jim Bowie, and Colonel William Travis.
  • Jim Bowie's dead body is shown with two rifles with bayonets' sticking out of him, along with a bloofy head wound (true to life). While not super graphic due to the film being black & white, but it might be too intense for some viewers.
  • One very intense scene near the end of the Alamo battle shows a really young boy hiding under a cannon when the arm of a Mexican Soldier reaches out, grabs him by the throat, and then throws the boy across the battlefield, presumably killing him.
  • Some of the surviving Alamo Defenders are lined up against the wall and shot.
