Lost Biograph Western
PamelaShort14 January 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Tom Grey is killed by Indians while travelling west from Wyoming with his family, and his son is taken captive. His widow remarries and inherits a stepson, Dick, ( John Brammall ) who's half sister Mabel urges him to look for her missing brother. During his journey he falls under the bad influence of Mike Clancy ( Robert Drouet ) and Dick gambles away his money. Mabel has joined him in the search and Dick tries to manipulate money out of her. Taken with Mabel's genteel manners, Jack Gordon ( Charles Perley ) decides to aid Mabel in locating her lost brother, now called Little Bear ( Antrim Short ). Dick learns of Little Bear's identity and tries to kill him, hoping to larger share of the family inheritance, but Jack saves the Indian and foils the plot. But before the brother and sister are reunited, Dick and Mike kidnap the siblings separately, and Jack, Mabel and Little now daringly execute heroic rescues battling enraged Indians.

What a sad loss this early Biograph Company western is for fans of silent film.
