The suitcase contains her pet rattlesnake, Henry. Donohoe is released when it is determined someone else is guilty and they drop him off at Union Station with a warning. They are called back to Union Station again to arrest a robbery suspect who fires at them. However, Donohue intervenes in the incident.

Her phone bill in the mailbox connects her to the Meadows family; her doorman provides leads regarding the males she entertained (including a judge). At her funeral, a young man shoots at Farley Meadows and is shot running away. Kojak finally puts the pieces together and arranges a confrontation in the Meadows home with all the suspects present.
- A man is killed, apparently by a prostitute and her partner, but Kojak begins to suspect that it is much more than a simple "Murphy job". As he investigates, he finds that federal authorities are hampering his efforts, and apparently protecting the wealthy businessman he suspects of involvement.

Jonathan takes her to his home and tries to communicate with her. The scientist who found demands she be returned to him but Jonathan thinks she's in danger. Jonathan has Ty check her out and thinks she's the daughter of a businessman who happened to be in the area where she was found years ago and while her entire family was found dead she went missing. Brooke goes to talk to her father's partner and when she meets him, she thinks she saw him somewhere. She checks the video of the lecture and sees he was there. Later someone takes the girl.
- The kidnapping of a woman who is married to a wealthy astrologer -- and the appearance of her kidnapper, who claims she is being held in a room with a ticking time bomb -- spur the woman's husband to bash in the kidnapper's head with a vase, leaving McCloud, Clifford and Broadhurst with a limited time to determine where the woman is and who is really behind the kidnapping.
