She speaks about her neglectful behavior towards her son, who now suffers from HIV, the affairs that she had whilst married, the lurid headlines she made, and her drinking habits. She reveals how, over the years, she had lost her sense of character during her search for fame, but now finally realizes that being famous is not important. She concludes by saying that she now wishes to close the door on both Ivy Tilsley and Lynne Perrie, and to start a new life as Mrs. Barksby, wife and mother.
