He robs him at gunpoint, turns around and walks away leaving Armin confused standing there. After a few minutes Armin goes back inside to call the police and notices the older man still sitting in front of the Scrapyard. He gets confused and interested in this older man and approaches him. After a very short conversation the older man tells him to go back inside and call the police, which he does. After calling the police he goes back outside and starts following the older man around the Scrapyard, while they find out things about each other. Armin reveals that he never knew his father to which the older man is stunned for a second before he walks off again. They have a discussion about who's life is worse as both of them think they are better off than the other. Armin says something that the older man finds interesting and he walks up to him and introduces himself as Jakob. After a few minutes Armin approaches him again and asks him where his family is. Jakob, after saying he doesn't know where they are and that it is not so easy to look for them now, get's verbally attacked by Armin. For some reason Armin gets very passionate and starts arguing with Jakob as if he was his son. Until the end of their time together they speak to each other as father and son until they hear the police arriving and Jakob starts to walk off. Armin, wanting to change the outcome somehow, runs after him, hides his gun and goes to lie to the police that the robber is already gone and it's only him and his father there.
