- A homicidal maniac had his trunk rigged so that logs were ejected to kill or injure motorcycle policemen pursuing him. George Nader devises a drug that slows reflexes and logs were able to be dogged and the killer finally apprehended.
- David Mumford, a brilliant scientist, holds a grudge against Dr. Barton. With his assistant he plots the demise of Glenn and proceeds with the plan against the unknowing government agent.
- Dr. Barton is conducting experiments on sleep deprivation and needs a strong subject to withstand the rigors of the test. Barton selects a ex-sergeant in great physical condition but things soon go wrong.

Jim Harrigan, a government official, asks Barton to organize a prison break using an athletic team. The team has no official backing by Washington. Barton selects and trains his team and they undertake their daring mission. The team consisting of Liza Dantes, gymnast, Ed Carmondy, acrobat, Lou Brand, strongman and Barton as leader enters the prison, frees the prisoners and returns them to the United States.
- Dr. Barton (George Nader) is doing a series of controlled experiments in human endurance with a male subject (Bob Conrad) whose doctors have kept him on a rigorous program of diet, nutrition and exercise, plus a regimen of super-vitamins and a mysterious ingredient, the cumulative effect of all these is that the man can run a three-minute mile, and is the fastest man on the track in the world, and one of the world's strongest men. However, it proves to be too much for the test subject, and he collapses during an experiment and nearly dies. This episode was the pilot episode for this series, and is a remake of an episode from Science Fiction Theatre, titled "Three Minute Mile", 1956, in which the subject was actor Martin Milner.
