- 'The Skin' is a modern story filled with Caribbean folklore about Michael and Lisa (Brent Simon & Aisha Ralph) who are a young married couple on the verge of losing their home. Their luck changes when Michael, while on a photo-shoot at the historic Betty's Hope Estate discovers an ancient vase and sells it to an antique dealer (Jeff Stewart). The couple gets little time to celebrate their good fortune before strange things begin to happen. They are introduced to a Jamaican mystic (Carl Bradshaw) who informs them that the ancient relic was not really a blessing but a curse. The film incorporates the sights and sounds of Antigua & Barbuda including music by Antiguan calypsonian Kaiso Joe, jazz vocalist Charmain Bailey and reggae artist Promise.
- Cardiff, 2006. Ed has a good job in Health and Safety and the offer of a new promotion. But he's depressed and doesn't know why. Neither does housemate Luke, an IT consultant who discusses the meaning of life with Ed over Snooker. Conducting a risk assessment at a paper recycling plant, Ed sees a mysterious diagram for a time-travel device go by on the conveyer belt. With nothing to lose he builds it. And it works. Travelling in time, Ed has to work out how the device works and what it's telling him about his life. Luke urges him to take the promotion, but Ed comes to realise that perhaps Health and Safety doesn't rock his world after all. Maybe it's time to shed convention.
- It's the near future and mass panic over terrorism has created a cold war environment. People are ready to evacuate to Mars should missiles be launched and the Earth be destroyed. Seeing the signal to leave, students Ryan, Toke and Billy launch their escape pod, leaving Earth far behind. Travelling through space it's clear entertainment has been somewhat overlooked in the evacuation plan. One room, three friends a guitar and a Scrabble board. A two year journey suddenly feels like a horribly long time.
