Her siblings included actress Ruth Selwyn, who was married to producer-director Edgar Selwyn, one of the founders of the Goldwyn Studios, and director Fred M. Schenck (Nicholas Schenck, the president of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer parent-company Lowe's Inc. and one of the pioneers of the movie industry. He also owned the Palisades Amusement Park in Fort Lee, New Jersey from 1911 until 1935, with his older brother Joseph, also a movie-industry executive.
