Auditioning for his screen debut as a Nazi youth, he also pretended to be able to speak fluent German, but ended up memorizing his lines, being assisted in the correct pronunciation by Germans who owned a local greengrocer. Amazingly, he pulled it off. Still under age, he joined the Screen Actor's Union soon after. Fast forward to 1956, Damian made his first Hollywood film appearance in a bit part. Featured roles had to wait for another eleven years, but he eventually forged a career as a television guest actor, showing up in popular cult TV shows like Get Smart (1965), I Dream of Jeannie (1965), Mannix (1967), The F.B.I. (1965), Tales of the Unexpected (1979) and Seinfeld (1989). He is most fondly remembered as the sad, ill-fated Centauri Regent Milo Virini in Babylon 5 (1993). Many of Virini's personality quirks were either created or ad-libbed by the actor. He said in a July 2000 interview: "I would get a script and it was left up to you to figure out how your character would say these words, how your character's personality would handle this particular scene. There was nobody standing over you saying, 'This is the way it's going to be."

Prolific singer, songwriter and composer Nico Fidenco was born in Rome as Domenico Colarossi on January 24, 1933. Signed to RCA in Rome in 1960, he had his first major hit as a singer with Legata ad un granello di sabbia. This became the first single to sell over a million copies in Italy. Soon after, Fidenco's beautiful rendition of Su nel cielo was chosen by the director Francesco Maselli for the soundtrack of his film Silver Spoon Set (1960). From then on, Fidenco followed in the footsteps of balladeer/cantautore Peppino Di Capri by recording in both English and Italian. Many of these recordings were covers of songs that featured prominently as motion picture themes, such as Exodus or Moon River (from Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961). Though he never registered a win at the prestigious San Remo music festival, Fidenco nonetheless turned an impressive number of superb ballads. He reached the peak of his popularity and ranking high in the charts by the mid-60's with iconic songs like Goccia di mare, A casa d'Irene, Celestina, Come nasce un amore and Non è Vero.
By 1966, Fidenco had turned his attention to writing a plethora of scores for genre movies, ranging from spaghetti westerns (The Texican (1966), Dynamite Jim (1966), etc.) to horror (Zombie Holocaust (1980)), Japanese anime and sexploitation (notably, the Emanuelle series). His warm, melodious voice was still occasionally featured, as in the title song, La ballata del treno, for the western Bandidos. Along with Jimmy Fontana, Riccardo Del Turco and Gianni Meccia, Fidenco co-founded a nostalgic vocal quartet (Super Quattro) in 1984, giving live performances (and releasing a trio of albums) of their respective 60's hits, updated with modern arrangements. The group disbanded in 1994. Fidenco himself retired in 2014 but his distinctive - very evocatively 1960s -- music can still be heard in films like Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood (2019).
Fidenco was married to the actress Anna Maria Surdo from 1969 until his death in November 2022.- Producer

Surrounded by his family, on Saturday, November 19th, 2022, Leon Fontaine went to be with Jesus, his Lord and Saviour. While taking a well-deserved holiday, Leon was unexpectedly diagnosed with aggressive late-stage cancer. While pursuing treatment, his health suddenly turned for the worse.
There is a deep void in the hearts and minds of all those who knew him. If you ever had the chance to speak with him, you know he had an incredible ability to make you feel like you were the most important person in the room. He was one man yet could foster what felt like thousands of relationships while simultaneously running multiple organizations. He set the standard of what a true leader is.
Leon and Sally became senior pastors at Springs Church in 1994. Over the past 28 years, Springs has become one of the largest and fastest-growing churches in Canada, with locations in Winnipeg and Calgary. They created the culture of LAF within the church, teaching us to love, Accept and forgive all people - just like Jesus.
As the president of Springs Christian Academy, he was passionate about equipping the next generation to pursue Christ with excellence in everything they do. This Private school offers a strong, biblically integrated academic program and has developed thousands of students into young leaders.
Motivated by their deep love got their community, Leon and Sally began a church in Winnipeg's inner city in 1996. Hundreds of families and children receive meals, care, and encouragement weekly. In recent years Springs Church started Acts of Kindness as an outreach that has met the essential needs of over 600 families and furnished the homes of new immigrants and other needs.
His love for the community extended beyond his ministry. As a former front-line worker, Leon had the heart to serve others. He offered Springs' facilities to organizations such as Winnipeg Police Services and Manitoba Nurses Association to host their own speakers and experts where they could provide a safe place for healing and reconciliation for front-line workers.
Leon Constantly sought new opportunities to give people the care they needed. When indoor services were no longer possible due to public health orders, Springs Church launched drive-in services. People assembled in their vehicles and received encouraging messages on a large outdoor screen.
From 2010 on, Leon served as the CEO of Miracle Channel, Canada's original Christian television station. His leadership turned the station from near bankruptcy to a thriving, multi-faced media organization. His love for people inspired him to create many programs such as "The Spirit Contemporary Life", "The Leon Show", "5 in the Wild" and many more.
Leon had a deep love for Canada and the Godly values upon which it was founded. His news commentary, "Return to Reason" recently spoke to current issues and offered viewers a common-sense perspective. Leon always stood up for what he believed.
As a world-renowned speaker and author, Leon spoke at both Christian and mainstream conferences worldwide. His devotionals are translated into 12 languages, and his books have made a global impact. Leon's desire to communicate the Bible in a practical way led him to coin the term "Spirit Contemporary." This approach to Christianity inspires people to be spiritually alive using the Bible as their guide in a relevant and contemporary way.
Leon's love for Sally and his family was undeniable. His wife, five children, their spouses, and nine grand-kids-Eden & Jayden Shimoda, Danielle and David Craig, Tamara and Jeremy Prest, Michala and Austin Stannard, and Zachary & Jessica Fontaine-Will continue to passionately serve and lead the ministry he established. Springs Church, Springs Christian Academy and Miracle Channel families will miss Leon's visionary leadership and generous heart but will stand on his shoulders and continue to work to help the hurting across Canada.- Greg was born in San Diego on August 20th, 1951, to Wilma M. and Dale F.
