While Mr. Woodfield made a lucrative but relatively unknown career in screenwriting, he became most famous as a photographer. He took many portraits of film stars, such as Elizabeth Taylor and Jayne Mansfield, for such magazines as "Life", "Esquire" and "Playboy".
