Francisco "Frans" Reynders was an active and highly-regarded mime, theatrical designer and fine artist. Growing up in The Netherlands, he eventually moved to the United States, first living in New York City. He later moved to Portland, Oregon where he taught at Lewis and Clark College and founded the Oregon Mime Theater in 1973.
