Viktor Khokhryakov was an Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1950), People's Artist of the RSFSR (1965), People's Artist of the USSR (05.10.1973). In 1933 he graduated from the Leningrad College of Performing Arts. Since 1933 he was an actor of the Kharkov Theater of Russian Drama. Since 1940 Khokhryakov was an actor of the Central Transport Theater in Moscow. Since 1955 he was an actor and director of the Academic Maly Theater. In the movies since 1946, the first role - Petrov in the film "In the name of life". Khokhryakov fruitfully worked on the radio: in the collection of the radio fund - radio performances with his participation in the works of Ch. Aitmatov, M. Alain, J. Herman, Z. Chernysheva, G. Ibsen, V. Lipatov, K. Simonov, A. Tolstoy, A. Chakovsky. He took part in the scoring of animations and foreign films. Viktor Khokhryakov passed away on September 20, 1986 in Moscow. The actor was buried at the Vagankovskoye cemetery in Moscow.
