Walther Ludwig was a German tenor, and played opposite Zarah Leander in The Way to Freedom (1941) ("The Way to Freedom", "Le Chemin de la liberté"). He studied law, medicine and voice in Königsberg, Germany, where he also debuted in 1928. From 1929 to 1932 he was resident in Schwerin, Germany.

Composer, conductor, songwriter ("Percolator Twist", author and arranger, educated at the Cleveland Institute of Music (scholarship) and USC (Masters of Music degree). He conducted the United States Navy Band in Peru, Indiana between 1942 and 1945., later conducting at the Hollywood Bowl. He wrote for films and arranged and conducted for Bobby Vee and Gene McDaniels, and also led his own orchestra. He joined ASCAP in 1959, and his other popular-song compositions include "Beautiful Obsession" and "Jiving Around".- Béla Mátrai Betegh was born on 3 April 1914 in Budapest, Austria-Hungary [now Hungary].
