Denise is an English actress probably best known for her iconic TV character Hazel, the mum all gay men wanted in Russell T Davies' 'Queer as Folk' and 'Cucumber'. Also siren soap characters Denise Osbourne in 'Coronation Street', Joanie in 'Emmerdale' and Denny's mad, bad mum in 'Bad Girls'. She plays Ms Madden, pathologically loyal secretary to Lord Baddingham (David Tennant) in a power packed British cast of the series adaptation of Jilly Cooper's 'Rivals'.
Denise was born in Portsmouth, UK. She also has a passionate interest in theatre and music. She got her equity card with the Actor's Touring Company in the early '80s performing plays around the globe and her first title role in 'La Pasionaria' by Pam Gems at the Newcastle Playhouse. She won the Manchester Evening News award 'Best Supporting Actress' for her portrayal of Mrs Byant in Roots (Wesker) at the Royal Exchange. In 2018 she won 'Best Performance In a Play' at the UK Theatre Awards for 'The Cherry Orchard'.

A qualified nurse, he joined the staff of Wembley Stadium's Medical facility in the late eighties. From 1992, he took over responsibility for the First Aid and Medical Care available within the Conference Centre, Exhibition Halls, Arena and Stadium.
This was followed by further advancements within Health and Safety by achieving numerous qualifications within the field. During this time Andy broadened his palette by overhauling the Safety and Facilities management practices of a large multi-national manufacturer's factories in England and Wales. Experience gained from setting up ongoing operational systems in this context provided a valuable set of skills which counterpointed yet complimented the Event focused work he was doing at the Wembley complex.
After the stadiums last Hoorah! In 2000, Andy remained part of the project team for the New Wembley until 2001 when an offer from an Irish Safety Consultancy company provided a new set of challenges to get stuck into. This move saw him taking responsibility for Event Safety Management at major indoor and outdoor events throughout the country.
In January 2006 Andy took the next logical step and set up Safe Events Consulting, a creative hub specialising in tailored service provision for the Leisure, Events, Theatre, Film, TV and Concert Industries. The organisation continues to grow from strength to strength.- Actor
