Swab writes and directs. Olivia Luccardi, Sam Quartin, Eden Brolin, Owen Campbell, Virginia Rand, Guinevere Turner, and William Baldwin star.

Much like the Goonies, superheroes never say die. Exciting comic book news comes from Entertainment Weekly this Friday, with word that Ms. Marvel star Iman Vellani is co-writing a new Ms. Marvel comic as a part of the character’s embiggened reintroduction to Marvel Comics. Before we share the details, you should know that Marvel recently killed Ms. Marvel after the character sacrificed herself earlier this year in Amazing Spider-Man #26. Ms. Marvel’s death elicited mixed reactions from fans, but like most things in comics, there’s always a plan.
Vellani will co-write a new Ms. Marvel comic alongside Ms. Marvel TV writer Sabir Pirzada. Carlos Gomez and Adam Gorham supply the art, with Sara Pichelli creating covers for the series.
“This was way scarier than joining the MCU for me,” Vellani tells Entertainment Weekly. “Those projects feel like they live in their own dimension, so I guess I can separate myself easier.

Last year, Goosebumps and Fear Street creator R.L. Stine teamed up with Boom Studios for a four-issue limited comic book series called Stuff of Nightmares: The Monster Makers – and the Tpb collection of those issues can be purchased at This Link. This year, Stine and Boom are bringing the horror again with a self-contained comic book called Stuff of Nightmares: Red Murder, which is set to reach store shelves on September 27th. Fangoria got the first look at the covers for Red Murder, and you can check them out at the bottom of this article.
Adam Gorham provided the artwork for Stuff of Nightmares: Red Murder, which has the following synopsis: Comic creator Alex Oxaca has been out of the spotlight for decades, and he’ll wish he’d remained in obscurity soon enough. A real ax murderer, cosplaying as the titular hatchet-wielding killer in his early 2000’s smash hit series,...

Launched last year, R.L. Stine’s adult horror comic book series Stuff of Nightmares is back this year with Stuff of Nightmares: Red Murder, announced by Fangoria this week.
From Boom! Studios, Stuff of Nightmares: Red Murder will be unleashed in September.
In the new terror tale, “Comic creator Alex Oxaca has been out of the spotlight for decades, and he’ll wish he’d remained in obscurity soon enough. A real ax murderer, cosplaying as the titular hatchet-wielding killer in his early 2000’s smash hit series, Red Murder, starts chopping down equally real victims at a horror convention!”
Adam Gorham (The Blue Flame) is handling the art, while Stine pens the story.
“The works of R.L. Stine and illustrations of Goosebumps cover artist Tim Jacobus formed pillars of my pop culture DNA while growing up in 1990’s Canada. Their novels were staples of any school book fair...

Last July, Playmates and Netflix joined forces to release a toy line that saw Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters pairing up with characters from the Stranger Things TV series. (They had previously created a toy line where Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters battled characters from Cobra Kai.) The idea of a Turtles and Stranger Things crossover must have really appealed to the folks at the Idw and Dark Horse comic book companies, because they have now teamed up to bring us a crossover comic book called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Stranger Things! Issue #1 will reach comic book stores in July.
Written by Cameron Chittock and featuring art by Fero Pe, the four-issue crossover will bring Eleven, Max, Dustin, Mike, Will, and Lucas to New York in 1985 as they try to take a break from the insanity of their hometown, Hawkins. However, it won’t be long before the kids...
