Born in Venezuela, Rodrigo worked as Distribution Director for Venezuela's largest independent distributor (Cines Unidos), with whom he released over 85 titles in that country. He then started his own marketing and distribution company, Cameo Marketing Audiovisual with partners Ana Valentina Hernández and Isabel Mavarez. Dedicated mostly to Venezuelan cinema, he worked in the marketing, press & communications and distribution of 26 films, including three selected to represent Venezuela for the Foreign Language Picture award at the Oscars ('El rumor de las piedras', 'Piedra papel o tijera', 'Brecha en el silencio'), the winner of the Goya Award for Best Iberoamerican Film ('Azul y no tan rosa'), the winner of the Platino Award for Best First Film ('La distancia más larga') and the country's biggest box-office smash, 'Papita, maní, tostón' (with 2MM tickets sold).
In Panama, he's worked as producer in films such as 'El cheque' (2016) and 'Donaire y Esplendor' (2017), both of which were the highest grossing Panamanian film in their respective year of release.
