U.K. broadcaster Channel 4 has revealed a disabled presenting team for the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games, who will present on the ground in China. Award-winning presenter Ade Adepitan will front the daily highlights show, with former rugby player Ed Jackson and Paralympic champion triathlete Lauren Steadman presenting the “Breakfast Show.” Recently retired Paralympic swimmer Ellie Robinson will be joined by British racing car driver Billy Monger as on-screen reporters and former sit-kier Sean Rose as pundit. Tokyo 2020 presenter Arthur Williams will lead overnight sports coverage.
Over 80 hours of the games will be on Channel 4 live from Beijing and will also stream on the broadcaster’s streaming on YouTube platform.

Capstone Launches Toni Collette-Anna Faris Comedy For EFM Capstone is launching sales at the virtual EFM on Toni Collette, Anna Faris and Thomas Haden Church comedy The Estate, the story of two sisters who try to re-ingratiate themselves with their wealthy, estranged aunt when they discover she is ill. The film heralds from writer-director Dean Craig, who recently made his feature directorial debut with Netflix rom-com Love Wedding Repeat starring Sam Claflin and Olivia Munn. Signature Films’ Marc Goldberg and Sarah Gabriel will produce alongside Sarah Jessica Parker and Alison Benson’s Pretty Matches Productions. Executive Producers include Capstone Global’s Christian Mercuri and David Haring and Thruline’s Josh Kesselman. Signature and Capstone Global will finance. Capstone’s involvement was known, but this is the market debut for the project.

The 2019 BAFTA TV Awards programs took place at London’s Festival Hall on Sunday, May 12. Talk show host Graham Norton presided over this celebration of the best of British television. Scroll down to see the full and complete list of BAFTA TV Awards winners (and nominees).
As with the Emmys, the British academy divides its TV awards into two parts. The BAFTA TV craft awards which are equivalent to the Creative Arts at the Emmys, were handed out in a ceremony on April 28 that was emceed by Stephen Mangan (“Episodes”). At these kudos honoring the best behind-the-scenes artists and professionals, “A Very English Scandal,” based on the Jeremy Thorpe scandal, won a leading three BAFTAs: Costume Design, Director (Fiction) for Stephen Frears and Editing (Fiction), “Patrick Melrose” claimed Writer (Drama) for David Nicholls as well as Production Design and “Killing Eve” took Original Music and Sound (Fiction).
