"Bling Empire" season three isn't short on fun cameos, from Mila Kunis to Lewis Tan to Chrishell Stause. But one person viewers weren't expecting to see? Kelly Mi Li's ex-boyfriend Andrew Gray.
In episode one of season three, Gray takes everyone by surprise when he shows up to Guy Tang and Almar Guevarra's sixth anniversary party after Anna Shay suggests it's a good idea. Unfortunately, it ends up being the complete opposite. "In a million years, none of us thought he would show up and that especially Anna would bring him . . . I don't know what happened," Mi Li tells Popsugar.
"We were all shocked," Kane Lim adds. "When Andrew showed up, we're like, 'Are you trying to kill Kelly right now?' Like, she's been through so much therapy . . . I saw her face and I was like, 'You want to bring her back to square one again?'...

But perhaps the most unexpected part is when Kelly's ex Andrew Gray shows up to a party that everyone, including Li, is attending.

The cast of "Bling Empire" have a lot to say about Chèrie Chan and Jessey Lee's abrupt exit from the show. In an Entertainment Tonight interview, cast members Christine Chiu, Kim Lee, Kane Lim, Jaime Xie, Kevin Kreider, Kelly Mi Li, and Anna Shay shared their thoughts about the couple quitting the show.
"When they left the show, I was really disappointed because I really was wanting them to tell their story and to complete their story," Chiu said, adding that she understands as a mother why Chan decided to leave. "I have to respect her decision, which I am assuming was in the best interest of her family."

Long live the Bling Empire! After a hiatus of nearly 16 months, the Netflix reality series about “Los Angeles’s beloved uber-rich Asians” is back for a second season on May 13 with “even more luxury, glamour and crazy,” as the streaming service puts it. “This season, a romance between Kevin and Kim percolates, Cherie and Jessey’s relationship is questioned, and as Kane and Kevin’s best bud friendship is tested, Beverly Hills’s rivaling queens, Christine and Anna, put a new twist on the art of social warfare,” Netflix adds in a press release. “But through it all, the one thing these friends hold dearest to their hearts is their love for each other…and of course, impeccable style.” And if you’ve been following the tabloids over the last year and a half, you know that Bling Empire has a lot of ground to cover. Here are just some...

Two big things have happened within the world of "Bling Empire" since the show first premiered in January 2021: Netflix renewed the show for season two, and resident couple Kelly Mi Li and Andrew Gray have called it quits after five and a half years of dating. On their separate Instagram accounts, the couple announced their official breakup on March 9. The couple was a controversial part of the Netflix reality TV show. For every inimitable moment with the iconic Anna Shay, there was an uncomfortable scene with the on-again, off-again Mi Li and Gray. While many viewers called out their relationship as toxic and abusive, it appeared the couple was still together by the end of the first season.

Diamonds and drama. That's what Netflix's Bling Empire delivered when it was released back in January—and we couldn't be more pleased. For those unfamiliar with the show, Bling Empire follows a wealthy group of Asian and Asian American friends in Los Angeles as they shop, fight and live their best lives. The show, which stars Kevin Kreider, Kim Lee, Kelly Mi Li, Anna Shay, Christine Chiu, Kane Lim, Jamie Xie and Cherie Chan, has been devoured by viewers. In fact, Bling Empire even made Netflix's top 10 list at one point. However, having binged the Netflix hit so quickly, we were left eager for a new show to consume. While Bling Empire is wildly entertaining, it isn't the first...

Netflix’s “Bling Empire” doesn’t just highlight the lavish lifestyles of wealthy Asian American Angelenos, it also showcases numerous Asian customs and traditions.
“It was a collaborative effort where we shared a lot [of knowledge] with the crew,” producer and cast member Kelly Mi Li told TheWrap of incorporating the cultural elements into the show. “We had a good amount of Asian Americans on the crew working, which helped a lot.”
Major Asian holidays and cultural events, including Chinese New Year and a 100-Day party, serve as backdrops for the show’s most dramatic moments.
TheWrap breaks down all of the Asian customs from “Bling Empire” below:

What's next for Bling Empire's Kelly Mi Li and Andrew Gray? Earlier this week, the couple confirmed they're back together after taking around a six-month break in 2020. Thus, during an exclusive chat with E! News, we asked Kelly and Andrew about what their next step as a couple would be. Per Kelly, they're eager to have a family one day—but they have a few milestones to hit first. "We're still living separate right now, separate households," Kelly explained to E!. "You know, for us, we want to take our time, we want to do it right—and we are doing it right." She continued, "We have the rest of our lives together. So, no reason to 'rush.' But we do...

Are Bling Empire's Kelly Mi Li and Andrew Gray still together? On Monday, Jan. 25, Netflix dropped a "Where Are They Now" video about the cast of their latest reality hit. The just-released video covered a variety of topics, including an update on Kelly and Andrew's on-again, off-again relationship. Although the pair briefly broke up in season one, the finale teased a reunion between the Organic Media Group co-founder and the Power Rangers Megaforce actor. So, are Kelly and Andrew still an...

There’s the sort of wealth that buys designer clothes. Then there’s the sort of wealth that shuts down Rodeo Drive for a private Lunar New Year party, has a nine-piece band and a Gucci claw machine for a 1-year-old’s birthday, and takes a friend to their favorite restaurant — in Paris — as a treat.
These are the socialite activities of Netflix’s “Bling Empire,” part of a wave of Asian and Asian American unscripted fare that has popped up on TV screens in the wake of the 2018 hit film “Crazy Rich Asians.”
“I bet Anna goes to Paris more times in a year than she goes to Silverlake,” quips cast member Kelly Mi Li in the first episode, referring to L.A. socialite Anna Shay, who flies Li to France for her birthday and buys her a friendship ring from high-end jeweler Boucheron.

When I first learned Netflix was working on a reality TV show that follows a group of wealthy Asian and American friends around Los Angeles, à la Crazy Rich Asians, I was intrigued. Listen, I love reality TV. I am an avid Real Housewives watcher and always will be, but Bling Empire just wasn't it for me. The issue wasn't entirely rooted in the fact that I didn't find anyone from the cast likable, but mainly, I just don't think this is the energy we need coming into 2021.
If we learned anything about television in 2020, it's that people want shows with substance.
The show stars Kane Lim, the son of a Singaporean billionaire; Christine Alexandra Chiu, the founder of Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery with her husband, Dr. Gabriel Chiu; fashion influencer Jaime Xie; "superfamous DJ" Kim Lee; model Kevin Kreider; "denim empire" heiress Cherie Chan; socialite Anna Shay; producer Kelly Mi Li...

Dazzling jewels, designer couture, private jets and lavish parties? No, this isn’t “Crazy Rich Asians,” it’s the cast of Netflix’s new reality series “Bling Empire.”
The official description of the show reads:
“Bling Empire” follows a wildly wealthy group of Asian and Asian-American friends (and frenemies) in Los Angeles. While their days and nights are filled with fabulous parties and expensive shopping sprees, don’t let the glitz and glamour fool you. Between running multi-billion dollar businesses and traveling the world, these friends are as good at keeping secrets as they are at spilling them. And there is certainly no shortage of secrets.
