Bryan O'Connell, Director of Development for Disney Junior, is an experienced Creative Executive who has worked in animation production, development, and programming for television, streaming, theme parks, and feature films with a demonstrated history of working with high profile franchises for Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Nickelodeon, NBCUniversal, and many more.
Bryan oversees multiple shows and original movies for Disney Junior, as well as working with Disney's franchise team to expand properties into consumer products programs and live experiences and is currently working on unannounced projects, according to a Disney spokesperson.
With five years under his belt at Disney, O'Connell has worked in creative roles including a senior story coordinator stint on Walt Disney Animation Studios' 2021 film Raya and the Last Dragon.
Before joining the company, he was a creative coordinator at Silvergate Media, where he developed and assessed pitch materials for the prod-co's projects, and worked on the development and production of Nick Jr.'s Sunny Day. Prior to that, he held a series of production positions at NBCUniversal, Illumination, DreamWorks and Sesame Workshop.
