The Nic(h)olases — Cage and Hoult — connected with the fans over the weekend in an Ama session on Reddit as the duo, who formerly played father and son in the underrated film, The Weather Man, promote their newest venture as master and servant in the horror comedy Renfield. The Nics were asked a wide range of questions, from their favorite soups to their favorite lesser-known roles.
A fan would inquire with Cage what other undead characters he would like to play now that he’s done both Ghost Rider and Dracula, and Cage was quick to answer,
“Ohh! Yeah! Jim Corrigan, the Spectre (old DC comic character). That would be a fun one. But that’s a hard one to pull off because he’s virtually invincible, he has no weakness. You need characters that have a kryptonite, that have a flaw, but he’s kinda unbeatable. But that would be a fun one.

To give readers a better picture of what the new DC Universe timeline looks like, DC Comics will tell their complete superheroic history with a Free Comic Book Day one-shot followed by five self contained prestige format books that will see release between May and September. By the time that final book is revealed, we'll have an understanding of what constitutes the new shape of DC continuity.

“Crisis on Infinite Earths” has been an exhilarating ride for DC fans, but it’s also somewhat bittersweet as it marks the end of an era. In a couple of weeks’ time, Arrow is coming to a close with the conclusion of its shortened eighth season. The ever-sprawling franchise that is the Arrowverse wouldn’t even be here if it wasn’t for the initial success of the Green Arrow’s solo show, so it was only fitting that “Crisis” climaxed with the death of Oliver Queen.
Following the airing of the two-part finale last night, star Stephen Amell took to Twitter to share a poignant message about why he decided to hang up his quiver for good. “8 seasons and an entire Universe seems like a pretty good time to step away.” Amell wrote. “What a ride.”

“Crisis on Infinite Earths” concluded last night, with the final two episodes – unfolding across Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow – seeing the heroes rebooting reality and saving the multiverse. But it came with a cost. Oliver Queen, who already died rescuing the people of Earth-38 in the first episode of the crossover, perished for a second and final time in “Part 4” while battling the Anti-Monitor.
Having been imbued with the cosmic powers of the Spectre by Jim Corrigan while in Purgatory, Oliver was able to take on the evil villain for a while and release a massive amount of energy that kickstarted the birth of a new multiverse. It was then up to the seven Paragons to focus on the concepts they represent – Hope, Faith, Love, Destiny, Humanity, Strength and Truth. After it was done, Barry and Kara found the dying Oliver and stayed with him until he passed away.

“Crisis on Infinite Earths” finally returns to our screens in less than a week, with the final two parts of the ginormous Arrowverse crossover airing on The CW next Tuesday. To mark its arrival, the network released a new poster for the event a couple of days ago that gave us our first look at Oliver Queen in his latest guise. Once again, he’s had to become something else, someone else. No, not the Green Arrow, but supernatural superhero the Spectre.
The merging of the Emerald Archer and the avenging spirit has been a highly anticipated development of the climax of “Crisis,” but now that we’ve seen him in costume as the Spectre, not all fans are blown away by his look. Sure, it’s awesome that Ollie’s alive again, but couldn’t they have made his new suit a bit… better?

After a month’s break, “Crisis on Infinite Earths” is finally set to return in exactly one week’s time. And ahead of the conclusion of the mega DC TV event, The CW has now dropped yet another poster for the crossover.
As well as bringing the Arrowverse’s heroes together, it’s most notable for giving us our first look at Stephen Amell’s Oliver Queen in his new guise as the Spectre. Overlooking the Super-Friends, meanwhile, is the evil Anti-Monitor (Lamonica Garrett).
Under his right arm, we have Wild Dog (Rick Gonzalez), Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh), Dreamer (Nicole Maines), Heatwave (Dominic Purcell) and Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer). Beneath his other arm, there’s Frost (Danielle Panabaker), Martian Manhunter (David Harewood), Diggle (David Ramsey), Nash Wells (Tom Cavanagh), Ryan Choi (Osric Chau) and Atom (Brandon Routh). The very first episode of “Crisis on Infinite Earths” killed off Stephen Amell’s Oliver Queen, with the Emerald Archer sacrificing his life in order to save a million extra people from the dying Earth-38. However, this being the DC universe, it’s likely not the end of the Green Arrow. Something that’s heavily teased in this new trailer for Part 4, which arrives on The CW in a few weeks.
The 30-second promo sets up the high-stakes new status quo: with just a handful of heroes still alive in the multiverse, they’re now giving the evil Anti-Monitor (Lamonica Garrett) all they’ve got. And, somehow, they’ll be joined by the late Oliver. In one clip, we see him throwing punch after punch at an unknown enemy – this doesn’t seem to be the Anti-Monitor, either – with the voiceover featuring the vigilante saying: “My entire life prepared me for this fight.

This article contains spoilers for the first three episodes of Crisis on Infinite Earths.
In an Arrowverse crossover full of surprises and shocks, Crisis on Infinite Earths' biggest curveball before the winter break might have been what they did to Oliver Queen.
Crisis promised big changes for the Green Arrow right from the outset. He had already cut a deal with the Monitor during the Elseworlds crossover last year, to save Supergirl and the Flash. The presumption was, knowing that the Crisis was coming, that he would be sacrificing himself for Barry, who famously died in the pages of the original comics version of the story. And then they went and killed Ollie in the first hour of Crisis on Infinite Earths.

The cameos of “Crisis On Infinite Earths” keep on coming, and last night’s part three treated us to the delightful surprise of none other than Lucifer Morningstar himself.
When the litany of casting announcements began to come out, fans were eager to know if the former King of Hell would make an appearance, a possibility due to Lucifer being a Vertigo comic and therefore under the aegis of DC, and speculation was only amplified after Tom Ellis was spotted on set in Vancouver. However, rumors were quashed by Ellis himself, who flat-out stated he wasn’t involved and was merely in town for a friend’s birthday, and of the crossover declared “Hard pass. Sorry.” It’s now evident that his being “economical with the truth” was a ruse intended to preserve the surprise for fans, only slightly given away beforehand by the familiar La establishing shot and the...

Crisis on Infinite Earths Part 3 Ending Explained: What Happened in the Arrowverse Midseason Finale?

Who lived? Who died? How many times did Crisis on Infinite Earths make us cry?
This article contains major Crisis on Infinite Earths spoilers. You were probably able to guess that from the headline, though.
Somehow, Crisis on Infinite Earths is three hours in and it has exceeded expectations in every single one of them. The biggest Arrowverse crossover of them all has been an astonishing translation of the original comic book mega-crossover. And it’s given us three really good episodes of the shows the crossover is jumping between. But with the conclusion of "Crisis on Infinite Earths Part 3" on The Flash, the crossover is now put on pause for a month, and it dropped some giant bombs on its way out the door.
So what happened at the end of "Crisis on Infinite Earths Part 3" which also serves as the midseason finale for the entire Arrowverse?...

Crisis On Infinite Earths Part Two complicated the major characters death in Part One. What does this mean moving forward?
Warning: This Crisis on Infinite Earths article contains Major spoilers for Part One.
The first episode of Crisis on Infinite Earths ended with a showstopper: Oliver Queen’s death. While we’ve known it was coming since last year’s Elseworlds crossover, the end of the first of five crossover episodes was a far earlier point than expected to lose the hero who started the entire Arrowverse. That begs the question: is Oliver Queen really dead?
Um, kind of? After "Part Two" of the Crisis, Oliver Queen's body has been brought back through the use of a North Dakota-located Lazarus Pit. This is Step 1 of a two-step resurrection process. Step 2 is to retrieve Oliver's soul. Without it, Oliver is the shell of a human—a monster.

There’s been some discussion from fans about whether too much has been revealed in the run-up to “Crisis on Infinite Earths.” With the Arrowverse crossover due to see the entire multiverse at threat, many iconic faces from across DC history are dropping by for either key supporting roles or cameos. A significant number have been already officially confirmed, too, which has left some upset that these surprises have been spoiled.
But maybe we don’t have anything to worry about, as Ep Marc Guggenheim has now promised that there’s plenty more where they came from. In an interview with IndieWire, the producer revealed that there are at least six surprise characters involved in the first three episodes of the event alone that fans have no idea about.

Arrow producer Marc Guggenheim has revealed that there are still more cameos to come in “Crisis On Infinite Earths.”
The Arrowverse’s most ambitious crossover yet not only incorporates its core shows and numerous guest characters, but will also bring in the likes of Superman from both Smallville and Kingdom Come, Huntress from Birds of Prey, Ryan Choi’s Atom, Bruce Wayne, Jim Corrigan (who may or may not have become the Spectre) and Burt Ward in an undisclosed role highly speculated and most likely to be Robin from the ‘60s Batman series. With such an expansive cast already confirmed, you’d have thought this would be enough to deal with. Guggenheim, however, doesn’t think so.
When responding to a fan’s tweet asking if there would be any more cameos, he surprisingly responded in the positive, also stating we won’t know who they are ahead of time.

Krypton Season 2 is bringing a Constantine vet back to play Lobo.
Krypton Season 2 is introducing Lobo. He'll be played by Emmett J. Scanlan (who portrayed Jim Corrigan on Constantine) will play the ruthless bounty hunter.
