Shay Rudolph began acting in local musical theatre in her hometown of San Diego, California. Shay had her big break playing "Maya" as a major recurring Guest Star in FOX's LETHAL WEAPON series. Shay can be seen in two seasons of Netflix's reboot, THE BABY-SITTERS CLUB. Shay played the character, 'Stacey McGill', who is the treasurer and fashionista of the club and a recent transplant from New York City. The live-action dramedy is based on the beloved Ann M. Martin best-selling book series and also stars Alicia Silverstone and Mark Feuerstein.
Shay's upcoming project is co-starring in the film "The Present". Shay plays the character "Emma" who is the oldest daughter of Greg Kinnear and Isla Fisher's characters. "The Present" revolves around a brilliant young boy on the autism spectrum who discovers he is able to manipulate time using an enchanted family heirloom. He and his siblings team up to go back to the eve of their parents' separation in hopes of changing the outcome.
Shay was recently announced as a co-producer and co-host of the highly anticipated Smart Girls Podcast. This podcast is part of newly formed American Girl Podcast Network and will be a series of ten episodes focusing on bringing modern day advice to teens.
When Shay isn't filming, she is passionate about spending time writing, playing the piano, and playing the guitar. Shay will be attending the prestigious Yale Young Writers' Workshop.
