Jean Paul Vizuete is a Panamanian writer and filmmaker focused on the fantasy and science fiction genres. After starting his film career as a teen in Panama, he moved to Argentina in 2015, where he produced, wrote, and edited notable works like 'Las Alturas' and 'Ojos Azul Pálido.' His time abroad enriched his storytelling by establishing his style and focus on mental health, the human condition, and individual relationships with their surroundings through fantasy and magical realism. 'Crono' premiered at HAYAH, and he joined Panama Film Lab with 'La Noche.' He created the web series 'Dream' during the 2020 pandemic, and released 'La Sombra' and 'Prefacio' in 2021. He's a published author ('Nombres en el Silencio,' 2019, 'La Mensajera,' 2022) and adapted the Argentine musical 'Mamá está más chiquita' in 2019. A Vancouver Film School graduate, he now resides in Canada, continuing his journey as a storyteller.
