Irene Rose

Irene first got drawn into acting when she was 6 years old. She played Snow White in, "Snow White & The 7 Dwarfs". In college, her most memorable role in theatre was playing Pakeeza in Eric Bogosian's "Suburbia", where she had to learn the Pakistani language Urdu. Credits include a co-starring role on "Blue Bloods", opposite Donnie Wahlberg.
Irene is a member and playwright of the New Short Play Festival theatre group - a company for actors by actors. She wrote and acted in two short plays, "Just Vote Dammit!" and "Sex & the Quarantined City". In her first season, she acted in "People Who Know Nothing About Making a Sh**ty Blockbuster Movie in Committee". In 2021, Irene received the City Artist Corps Grant from the New York Foundation for the Arts to produce her plays Off-Broadway. She is also an Audiobook Narrator and member of the Audio Publishers Association.
Irene received a BA in Communications from Ramapo College of NJ on a scholarship and an MBA in Finance from Mercy College with distinction. She was inducted into the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in Business. She trained in acting at the Weist Barron Studios and coached by Paul Michael.
Irene also loves music-singing, playing the piano, dancing-channeling her inner J. Lo from her Fly Girl days at "In Living Color", and art-going to museums and drawing. She also enjoys fitness: HIIT workouts, yoga, running, swimming, ice-skating and tennis. She is a Yankees fan, and likes to spend quality time with friends. Irene loves to travel and has been to several places in Asia, Europe, and the Caribbean. She loves the beach and her dream is to own a home by the water.
