Tired of inaction by the city, Arnold Schwarzenegger took the job of filling a large neighborhood pothole into his own hands.
On Tuesday, the actor and former governor of California shared a video on Twitter in which he, with some assistance, can be seen using pre-packaged concrete to mend a road located in the tony Brentwood neighborhood.
Today, after the whole neighborhood has been upset about this giant pothole that’s been screwing up cars and bicycles for weeks, I went out with my team and fixed it. I always say, let’s not complain, let’s do something about it. Here you go. pic.twitter.com/aslhkUShvT

The Terminator actor — and former California governor, just in case anyone forgot — took to the pavement with shovel and concrete in tow to fill a large pothole in the Brentwood neighborhood of LA, as he shared in a tweeted video.

Several requests to the Department of Public Works were made by Brentwood residents to repair roads in the area after winter storms worsened cracks and potholes, Schwarzenegger’s spokesperson Daniel Ketchell told Associated Press.

On Friday, we reported that Arnold Schwarzenegger had been rushed into emergency heart surgery after his experimental catheter valve replacement failed. Doctors at Cedars-Sinai were ready for this eventuality and were fully prepared to replace the valve at short notice. Mercifully, the operation went off without a hitch and Arnold’s spokesman, Daniel Ketchell, quickly reported that the star was in stable condition after surgery.
Now, we know what his first words were upon waking – and they’re suitably epic. After first opening his eyes and coming to, the star uttered “I’m back,” obviously a reference to his iconic catchphrase “I’ll be back,” which I’m guessing he said just before they anesthetized him and began the surgery.
