At 19 years old, Christian Gordon studied filmmaking at the University of The Arts London, which has produced talent such as, 'Senna' and 'Amy' director Asif Kapadia, as well as actors Tom Hardy and Piers Brosnan. Having impressed with his first university short 'Unravelling' (2014), Christian would go on to create the highly regarded Arthouse short film 'The Man' (2015).
In school, Christian took immediately to Art and English literature, gaining A's and A*s throughout his academic years. Later. he would go on to study Sociology and psychology at the University of Sussex. Fascinated with people, but more interested in creating narratives over analytics, at 18 Christian would move to London to fulfill his dream of becoming a filmmaker. "Film is an amalgamation of all the subjects I loved at school". He says that watching Nicolas Winding Refn's 2011 film 'Drive' was the exact moment he realised that film was instantly for him. He also says Stanley Kubrick and Christopher Nolan have been his two most influential filmmakers.
