- Richard Stringham was born in Little Rock, Arkansas and raised on a bad diet of R-rated films during the heyday of the video store craze. In 2016, he gave up his career as an HVAC contractor to write, produce and direct his first feature, "Close Calls," which garnered awards at the New York City Horror Film Festival and developed a cult following after a mention on Blumhouse's Shock Waves Podcast.
After making a BTS documentary on "Close Calls," Stringham helped produce a number of indie films in the horror/thriller genre, including shorts, documentaries, and features. Following his passion for screenwriting, Richard went on to write several award-winning scripts, earning accolades in top-tier writing competitions such as the Creative World Awards, Austin Film Festival, StoryPros, and the PAGE Awards.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Anonymous
