Nicholas Armington was born in New York City in the mid-1960s to a family with a rich background in both the arts and politics. His father, Herve Armington, was a documentary filmmaker, while his mother, Dr. Irene Meister Armington, was a member of Ronald Reagan's advisory team on the export sector.
After graduating from Dartmouth, Nick began his career at Westvaco Paper, where he worked in the communications and marketing division and became the company's in-house filmmaker. It was here that he honed his skills as a filmmaker and developed a deep understanding of the power of visual storytelling.
Nick's talent and dedication to his craft eventually led him to the Sundance Film Festival, where he met Sari Goldman, his partner and future wife. Together, they moved to San Francisco in 1995 and founded Alchemedia Ltd., a successful media production company that specializes in creating compelling and visually stunning content for a variety of clients.
Nick developed a signature visual style and innovated technology in video application for the internet.
Prior to founding Alchemedia, Nick also ran Manhattan Digital, a music production and recording company, and worked closely with IMAX director Bayley Silleck on a number of large screen films. Throughout his career, Nick has remained committed to the power of storytelling and the importance of using visual media to connect with audiences on a deep and emotional level.
Today, Nick is recognized as one of the most talented and innovative filmmakers in the industry. He continues to push the boundaries of what is possible in visual storytelling and remains dedicated to helping his clients achieve their goals through the power of media.
