At 18, Davy Greenberg left his hometown of Minneapolis and found himself in Chicago to pursue his career as a Video Director. After attending Columbia College Chicago, his career began with his break-out documentary on the Nike Air Yeezy's. Since then Greenberg has been collaborating with Chicago's biggest and brightest artists like GLC, LEP, Kids These Days and Rockie Fresh and eventually found himself producing and directing videos from coast to coast.
Wanting to be a filmmaker from an early age, Davy could never find an exact genre he was interested in, so his work ranges from Fashion Film to Music Videos, Corporate Branding videos and work with Athletes. Today, Greenberg's Production company has a growing list of collaborators that include Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, Diddy, Pharrell, Lupe Fiasco, Raekwon, Freddie Gibbs, Selita Ebanks, Jennifer Williams, Grey Goose, Vitamin Water, Jordan Brand, Havaianas, Nike, LVMH, Coco & Breezy and more.
In a growing video business where the old model of documentation and media has been turned on its head, Davy and DavyDOES continue to find ways to create work that stands out and intrigues audiences. Now 28, Greenberg maintains his philosophy of "attitude is everything", the idea that at the end of the day, it's about performance, having fun, and being able to offer fans a glimpse of the brands and artists they love in a new and exciting light. "RUN AND GUN filmmaking, and trying to create something great out of nothing is the most exciting part for me" Greenberg says. In todays world of viral content and quick turn around rates, Greenberg's DIY method of filmmaking is what's kept him going.
While continuing his work in music videos, Davy plans to move forward with DavyDOES expanding into advertisement and feature film work.
