Monday night on “The Voice,” Jej Vinson of Team Kelly Clarkson performed Khalid and Normani‘s “Love Lies” for his live Top 24 performance. This 22-year-old pop artist from the Philippines is already an early front-runner to win Season 16, but was his latest performance good enough to earn America’s vote? Let us know down in the comments section whether You voted Jej into the next round.

Since there was no time in the bloated performance show for the coaches to give their critiques, America must rely entirely on their own gut. And things are looking for Jej to advance since, as of press time, his video has by far the most YouTube clicks (watch above).

Now that the dust has begun to settle in the wake of The Voice’s Season 16 Battles — both the old-school and new-fangled Live Cross varieties — it’s become a whole lot easier to predict which singers will still be standing, come finale time.
Sure, we’re not quite done smarting from the eliminations. For instance, I’m as sore as ever about Kelly Clarkson dumping promising Mikaela Astel for The Bundys, aka the triple threat that wasn’t. And we’ve probably all lost hair from scratching our heads so much over new coach John Legend’s decision to use...

Last night, April 22, 2019, The Voice 2019 Live Cross Battles took place for 8 pairs of singers from Team Kelly Clarkson, Team Blake Shelton, Team Adam Levine and Team John Legend. Afterwards, the viewing audience got to vote for who won each of the Live battles. Tonight,April 23, 2019, the results were revealed. John and Kelly both had "saves" available, and Blake had one steal he could use. The season 2017 "The Voice" champ Brynn Cartelli kicked off the show with a new performance. Right after that, they got right down to business with the results. Lb from Team Adam and Jej Vinson from Team Kelly were up first, and it was revealed that the viewing audience voted for Jej to win. That meant poor Lb lost and was eliminated. Lb said, "It was a pleasure, and I'm thankful." Next, they brought on Kendra Checketts from Team Adam and Jimmy Mowery from Team John Legend for their results.

Knowing that The Voice would be eliminating five singers in Tuesday’s second (and final) Live Cross Battles Results Show, I made a few fearless predictions before Season 16’s Top 24 were revealed. Thinking over Monday’s performances, and considering the results of TVLine’s poll, I figured that the contestants who’d be losing their Battles would be Team Adam’s Lb Crew, Team Legend’s Julian King, Team Legend’s Jacob Maxwell, Team Kelly’s The Bundys, Team Blake’s Karly Moreno, Team Legend’s Jimmy Mowery, Team Legend’s Beth Griffith-Manley and Team Kelly’s Abby Kasch.

Season 16 of “The Voice” just wrapped four nights of battles and all four coaches now have their initial teams of eight. Which coach do you think has assembled the strongest roster of artists this cycle: reigning two-time champ Kelly Clarkson, rookie John Legend, three-time winner Adam Levine or six-time victor Blake Shelton? Vote in our poll below as to who has the best team and then be sure to sound off on your favorite coach and artist in the comments section.
Each of these teams is comprised of singers from around the country who inspired at least one coach to hit their button and turn during the blind auditions. Next up are the live cross battle rounds, where the four coaches will pit their artists against each other to determine who will advance and who’ll be sent home. It’s at this point that the judges are allowed to...

Kelly Clarkson is coming off back-to-back triumphs on “The Voice” with Brynn Cartelli (Season 14) and Chevel Shepherd (Season 15), so why did she have such a hard time assembling her Season 16 team?
Throughout “The Voice’s” just-concluded blind auditions, the original “American Idol” winner pushed her “I Want You” button 28 times, far more than rival coaches Adam Levine (20 times), John Legend (25 times) and Blake Shelton (26 times). Kelly’s team of 12 was finally completed on her 28th chair turn, which means a whopping 16 artists denied her by picking someone else, resulting in this season’s lowest success rate of 43%.
SEEAdam Levine is most successful coach of ‘The Voice’ Season 16 blind auditions, acquiring 60% of artists he wanted
One of the reasons Kelly turned her chair around so much was because she desperately wanted to mentor a male country singer. Unfortunately, the majority of them went over to Team Blake, per usual. Once Blake’s team was full,...

As we approached Monday’s Night 5 of The Voice’s Blind Auditions — with Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend’s teams about half-full — I was wondering where our R&B divas were. Season 16 had thus far sent to the Battles some promising male soul singers (Matthew Johnson, Lb Crew and Domenic Haynes). But where was the Kennedy Holmes of this go-’round? The Kyla Jade? Was Kim Cherry destined to be the lone woman in the R&B lane? Or were others going to be introduced Monday? For that matter, where was the rock dude who could out-Wilkes Season 14’s Wilkes?...

The Blind Auditions continued Monday night on NBC's The Voice. Coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend had all used their blocks already, so everyone was in play when it came to snatching up talent.
Beth Griffith-Manley was up first, singing “Til You Come Back to Me (That’s What I’m Gonna Do).” She is the daughter of Motown musician Johnny Griffith and has been working as a background singer, but came to the competition in order to take her solo career to the next level. She got turns from Legend and Clarkson. Clarkson ...

Adam Levine has not won a coaching title for “The Voice” in several seasons, but the tide might be turning for him in Season 16. He has convinced several artists during blind auditions to choose him over rivals Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend, including a big four-chair turn for Lb Crew last Tuesday. Doesn’t it feel like Levine is assembling his overall greatest team in many seasons?
He is a three-time champion and has been with the Emmy-winning program since the very beginning. His biggest on-air rival has been Shelton, who has also been there since the first season and is a six-time coaching champ. Clarkson has reigned for the past two seasons. Legend is a brand new addition.
