Maureen Hubley
- Producer
- Executive
Maureen Hubley's experience in entertainment began at a young age, when she studied acting at The American Academy of the Dramatic Arts in New York City, and later when she trained in improvisation and sketch comedy at Players' Workshop of the Second City, Chicago's oldest improvisational-comedy school. As a performer, writer, and a stage producer, Maureen acted with the Children's Theater of the Second City, as well as co-writing and performing in comedy revues at theater venues in Chicago, New York, and Boston.
In the Business World, Maureen has worked mostly as a marketing and management professional. She created and directed industry-specific seminars to introduce products and services to prospective and existing clients. She developed quarterly business plans, determined sales projections, and prepared and presented monthly reports for execs and upper managers. Maureen has worked at all levels of business, from sales and executive management, to Chairman. In numerous businesses, Maureen was also responsible for training and staffing. As a union spokesperson, Ms. Hubley also acted as a "Union Steward" and liaison between Unionized Employees and Executives.
When Maureen is not working in Business or Theater, she spends her time as the Chairperson for Charter Services; as well as instructing Fine Arts and Music-Appreciation in under-funded Public Schools. She is a volunteer for the Boy Scouts and the Brownies, and also a Fundraising organizer for numerous non-profit groups.
This marks Maureen Hubley's first sojourn into the movie business, to which she plans to bring her vast experience, her care for clients, and her winning charm. She is happy to be working in association with Vortex Filmz.
