When Prince Royce arrived at the Forum in L.A. on March 12th, 2020, he had already learned that the growing coronavirus pandemic had wiped out the remainder of his world tour, costing him untold amounts of money. But he had a more immediate concern: that night’s show, and the agonizing decision whether to cancel it or forge ahead.
“I’m very stressed,” Royce remembers of the uncertain hours before his headlining gig at the Forum, which ended up taking place. “There are lines of fans out in the rain...

Chip and Joanna Gaines forthcoming Magnolia Network has a solid foundation to build on, if its sneak peak ratings are anything to go by.
The former “Fixer Upper” stars aired a four-hour preview of their new venture on Dyi, drawing over 2.3 million viewers across a marathon runtime. The episode block delivered a 0.38 rating in the 25-54 demographic, making it Diy’s highest-rated night ever. In fact, each of the four episodes now rank among the top five telecasts in Diy’s history in that same demo.
Part 3 of the preview averaged just under a 0.7 rating, making it the single highest-rated telecast that Diy has ever aired. Joanna Gaines also recently hosted “In the Kitchen With Joanna Gaines” on the Food Network, which drew in nearly 3 million viewers.
Titled “Magnolia Presents: A Look Back & A Look Ahead,” the programming included a retrospective of the Gaines’ time on “Fixer Upper” on Hgtv,...

The Oct. 4 launch of Chip and Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia Network has been delayed because of production stoppages due to the coronavirus pandemic.
There is some good news, however, for those who need their “Fixer Upper” fix: Magnolia will preview four hours of its upcoming programming this Sunday on Diy. That’s the Discovery, Inc.-owned cable channel the Gaineses will (eventually) be replacing.
We do not yet have a replacement launch date for Magnolia Network, but we now know 10 more series it will have at launch, whenever that actually is. One of them belongs to Clint Harp, the fan-favorite woodworker loyal viewers of the Gaineses hit Hgtv series are sure to remember. More on that — and the other shows — below.

Former “Fixer Upper” stars Chip and Joanna Gaines will offer a sneak peek of their upcoming cabler, Magnolia Network, with a four-hour preview on Sunday, April 26, on Diy Network.
Magnolia Network is a joint venture between the Gaines and Diy parent Discovery, which will rebrand Diy as Magnolia for the linear launch. While the new cable network was previously scheduled to launch on Oct. 4, the coronavirus-induced shutdown of television and film production has pushed back Magnolia’s launch to a yet-to-be-determined date. The network will also have a direct-to-consumer offering in the future.
“Right now, it’s important that we all continue to look out for one another by upholding the guidelines set forth by the experts, leaders and front-line heroes working tirelessly to get us all through this difficult time,” said Chip and Joannna Gaines in a statement. “With this as our top priority, we’ve decided to delay...

The slate of programming for “Fixer Upper” stars Chip and Joanna Gaines’ upcoming Magnolia TV network is growing — and still includes no home renovation shows.
On Thursday, the Gaineses and Discovery, Inc. revealed that the second show they’ve ordered for their upcoming channel, which launches Oct. 4, is called “Growing Floret,” a series set at Floret Flower Farm in Washington state — so *not* at Chip and Jo’s home in Waco, Texas — one of the most successful organic flower farms in the United States.
The show follows the farm’s founder. Erin Benzakein, and her team “as they attempt to tackle their newest and most ambitious venture to date: Turning more than 20 acres of newly acquired, chemically damaged and overfarmed land into an extension of their fully functioning, self-sustaining, organic flower farm…and they have one year (i.e. one full growing cycle) to get the job done.”
