Chanel McCartney

A Canadian living in London, Chanel received my MFA in Costume and Set Design for Theatre and Film from the University of British Columbia in 2014. She also has BA (Honours) in English Literature and Language, Drama and Biology from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. She has worked in the West End as a Costume/Wardrobe Assistant, Maker and Dresser.
Some shows include: Sylvia, Christmas Carol, My Fair Lady, Mischief Theatre's Groan Ups, Be More Chill, and School of Rock. She enjoys exploring a wide variety of costuming areas in film & television and live theatre; costuming for dance and opera as well as musical theatre from detailed period work to abstract sci-fi and fantasy pieces with experience in costume buying, dressing, and costume making, tailoring, crafts, bead work, mask work, armour, breakdown and dying.
