The Inhumans are one of the most popular and important groups within the Marvel continuity. It seemed like their presence within the Marvel Cinematic Universe was a surefire thing, considering the Mutants were unavailable to Marvel Studios in the early days. A favorite of head honcho Ike Perlmutter, an Inhumans movie was even announced; one of the few projects that the company would never make.
If you paid attention to the most recent San Diego Comic-Con, it would have been very apparent that the Inhumans were once again nowhere in sight. Although neither were the Mutants, who are widely considered to be replacements for the Kree-created characters moving forward. So, is there any kind of future for the royal family and the wider roster to show up once more on screen?

The season finale of "Ms. Marvel" is packed with big showdowns and equally big revelations, but one of the most important moments of all is hidden away in a single bit of dialogue. Following the finale, the question on everyone's mind is: is Kamala Khan actually a member of the X-Men?
The reveal comes near the end of the finale, after the final battle has wrapped up. Bruno pulls Kamala aside to give her an update that throws a new wrinkle into the mystery behind her powers. He's taken a closer look at her DNA, and while her family connection still plays a role in her access to superpowers, it seems like her particular abilities are linked to something else, which he calls "a mutation." Kamala brushes it off as "just another label," but sharp-eared viewers will recognize the music that plays over his line: the theme music from the '90s animated "X-Men" series.

Marvel Studios has not-so-sneakily begun to fold certain Marvel Television characters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe proper. Sure, we're still waiting for the House of Ideas to show some respect to the McU's first Asian-American superhero, but at least it tipped its hat to "Agent Carter" with James D'Arcy's cameo as the Og Jarvis in "Avengers: Endgame." Then came Charlie Cox's cameo as Matt Murdock in "Spider-Man: No Way Home," around the same time Daredevil's old "pal" Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin, was revealed as the big bad on "Hawkeye," with Vincent D'Onofrio once...

By the time Tom Cruise arrived at the Cannes Film Festival for “Top Gun: Maverick,” a movie originally supposed to play at the festival two years ago, he had the seventh “Mission: Impossible” in the bag. Opening night entry “Final Cut” may be the first film from “The Artist” director Michel Hazanavicius since the pandemic hit, but it won’t be the last, as he’s already in post-production on the animated Holocaust drama “The Most Precious of Cargoes.” Russian filmmaker Kirill Serebrennikov finally arrived in Cannes following years of house arrest in the country to premiere “Tchaikovsky’s Wife,” but he’s already halfway through a new production about a Russian exile starring Ben Whishaw.
Seemingly everywhere at this year’s festival are reminders of a global film industry clawing its way back after two horrible pandemic years. Projects started ramping up in recent months, with Cannes arriving right as...

In August 2020, Agent Phil Coulson and his team completed their last mission together when "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." wrapped up their seven-season run on ABC. Since then, True Believers have been able to relive the mission logs of Agents Daisy Johnson, Melinda May, Leo Fitz, Jemma Simmons, Alphonso "Mack" Mackenzie, and Elena "Yo-Yo" Rodriguez (or discover them for the first time) on Netflix. However, it looks like your clearance will soon be revoked as the flagship live-action series of the now defunct Marvel Television will be leaving the streamer very soon. With The Defenders packing up and leaving...

With the Marvel Cinematic Universe expanding outwards in bigger and bolder directions, fans of Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." have been clamoring for the popular characters from the Marvel Television production to cross over into the MCU proper in a future film or TV series. That possibility has always seemed rather unlikely, especially considering the fact that "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." operated under Marvel Television -- a division entirely separate from Kevin Feige's purview that focuses more on movies and Disney+ shows.
However, that hasn't stopped vocal supporters from voicing their hopes that Marvel would bring Chloe Bennet's Daisy Johnson/Quake into the official...

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. alum Chloe Bennet has a message for those expecting her to play a role in Disney+’s upcoming Secret Invasion series: “I am in no way attached or involved.”
Ever since Disney+ announced that they were doing a series based on the 2008 Marvel Comics crossover storyline — and especially ever since Bennet abruptly parted ways with The CW’s live-action Powerpuff Girls pilot — there apparently has been rampant speculation that she was set to reprise her role as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s Quake/Daisy Johnson.

The CW has found its new Powerpuff Girls in Chloe Bennet, Yana Perrault and Dove Cameron. And for Cameron, this role is quite literally a dream come true — or rather, a tweet come true.
In this new take on the beloved children’s animated series, “The Powerpuff Girls used to be America’s pint-sized superheroes, [but] now they’re disillusioned twenty-somethings who resent having lost their childhood to crime fighting.” Cameron will star alongside Chloe Bennet’s Blossom, and Yana Perrault’s Buttercup.
And, as it turns out, Cameron unknowingly put herself up for the part almost a decade ago. In a resurfaced tweet from 2013, Cameron wrote “I really just want to play Bubbles in a live-action Power Puff Girls movie.”

The CW has found its three leads for its upcoming live-action reboot of “The Powerpuff Girls.”
From Warner Bros. Television, the new version of the beloved Cartoon Network series created by Craig McCracken follows heroines Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup as “disillusioned twentysomethings who resent having lost their childhood to crime-fighting. Will they agree to reunite now that the world needs them more than ever?”
Chloe Bennet will play Blossom, Dove Cameron is Bubbles and Yana Perrault is Buttercup. Blossom is described as “a spunky, conscientious, Little-Miss-Perfect child who holds several advanced degrees. Blossom’s repressed kiddie-superhero trauma has left her feeling anxious and reclusive, and she aims to become a leader again — this time on her own terms.”
Cameron’s “sweet-girl” Bubbles “still sparkles as an adult, but her charming exterior belies an unexpected toughness and wit. She’s initially more interested in recapturing her fame than saving the world,...

It's time to theorize, speculate, and pick apart every minute detail, folks!
With the arrival of WandaVision Season 1 Episode 1 and WandaVision Season 1 Episode 2 on Disney+, we are finally getting a much-needed dose of the Marvel Cinematic Universe after a five hundred and sixty-three-day drought.
And, boy, did Marvel deliver. Not that there was any concern that they wouldn't, of course.
WandaVision is unlike anything we have ever seen within the MCU, making it already a standout piece of work among the many movies and television shows that have come before it. And at the forefront of its success is Wanda Maximoff.
Wanda is one of the most underrated, most powerful characters in the MCU, and she is finally getting the recognition and the screentime that she deserves.
And Elizabeth Olsen is, as expected, marvelous as the Scarlet Witch herself.
Vision: My wife and her flying saucers.
Wanda: My husband and his indestructible head.

Last week, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. came to an end with the conclusion of its seventh season. As the longest-running modern Marvel TV show by far, fans were devastated to see it go as they’re going to miss catching up with Phil Coulson and his team. And for those still emotional about its end, here’s something else that might set you off. Star Chloe Bennet has just revealed that she got a tattoo to mark the end of the series, and it couldn’t be more fitting.
Bennet played Sky Aka Quake Aka Daisy Johnson on AoS since its first season. So, to honor the end of a massively important chapter in her life, the actress has got herself a new tattoo of a daisy. Bennet shared a snap of her tattoo, situated just above her elbow, on Instagram this weekend, as well as another shot of her during the process.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. wrapped up after seven seasons this week, but Marvel fans are hoping there could be some life after the show for at least one of the characters. Out of all Coulson’s team, Daisy Johnson Aka Quake feels like the most likely to cross over into the wider McU due to her popularity and superhero status. And as she’s made clear many times before, star Chloe Bennet would love to continue playing Quake in new projects.
Bennet spoke to Fandom in an interview released following the airing of Wednesday’s AoS series finale, and the actress revealed that she doesn’t believe she’s portrayed Daisy for the last time yet and is hoping that there’s a space that Quake can fill in Marvel’s plans.
“I don’t feel like I’m done playing her. I feel like there’s room in the Marvel Universe for more Quake.

A lot has changed in Agents of Shield season 7, not only as a result of the consequences of time travel, but also because of a shift in certain relationship dynamics. May is more emotional; Coulson can handle technology; Daisy is finding love while Simmons has forgotten hers. All of this points towards one conclusion: the team is transitioning to a life beyond the series finale, which means fans will soon have to do the same.
The end of the seven season run of Agents of Shield is comprised of two episodes entitled “The End is at Hand” and “What We’re Fighting For.” Here’s the official synopsis from ABC: “With their backs against the wall and Nathaniel and Sibyl edging ever closer to eliminating Shield from the history books, the agents must rely on their strengths to outsmart and outlast the Chronicoms. This article contains Agents of Shield spoilers.
One of the main mysteries in the first season of Agents of Shield was the identity of Daisy Johnson’s parents, only back then Chloe Bennet’s character was known as Skye. Eventually, the show introduced us to her father Cal who led her to her mother Jiaying and the transformative Terrigenesis process that gave Quake her powers. With the Inhuman storylines that followed, Daisy’s journey remained at the heart of the series for several seasons. So how did we not know that she had a sister named Kora?
In the season 7 episode, “After, Before,” the team visits 1983 as part of its jaunt through Shield history, and Agents May and Rodriguez revisit Afterlife, the hidden community of Inhumans overseen by the ageless Jiaying that Agents of Shield explored five seasons ago. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has managed to exceed all expectations and run for seven successful seasons, but it’s nearly time to call it a day on the McU’s premiere TV tie-in. The show is full of fan favorite characters, from Melinda May to Daisy Johnson, but it’s fair to say that the series wouldn’t have lasted so long without Clark Gregg at the center of it as Phil Coulson. He’s certainly come a long way since having a walk-on part in Iron Man over a decade ago.
Coulson’s proved to be more durable than many of the Avengers, surviving multiple deaths and near-cancellations to stick around the McU since its very beginning. However, with S.H.I.E.L.D. coming to a close, it’s possible that Gregg may be saying goodbye to the character for good. Over the last few years, there’s been an increased call for Marvel to make an all-female Avengers movie, likely based off the A-Force superheroine team from the comics. To date, Kevin Feige has yet to officially announce one, but that hasn’t stopped fans from asking for it. The fun of it would be in seeing the women from all corners of the McU come together. Maybe even the TV shows, too, like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
And if such a thing was to go ahead, Chloe Bennet would love to reprise her role as Daisy Johnson Aka Quake in the movie. In an interview with Playboy, Bennet was asked about the possibility of an A-Force type film and made clear that she would jump on the opportunity, assuming she got an invite. Which she doesn’t think is impossible, by the way.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. just kicked off its seventh and final season last night, with the stakes raised higher than ever before now that the resurrected Phil Coulson and his crew have traveled into the past in order to stop the evil alien Chronicoms from changing history. The promise is, then, that this will be the biggest and best run of the surprisingly long-running McU show yet. But TV fans have been here before, of course, with a certain popular series dropping the ball with its own last season back in 2019.
Star Chloe Bennet doesn’t think AoS lovers have got anything to worry about in this case, though. While speaking with Collider, Bennet – who plays Daisy Johnson Aka Quake Aka Skye – was asked if she thinks fans will be “satisfied” with season 7’s finale. “Agents of Shield” begins its final mission on Wednesday and will wrap up seven seasons of existing almost exclusively on the periphery of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. When it first debuted in 2013, “Shield” was supposed to mark the McU’s arrival to the small screen. After all, it starred Clark Gregg, reprising his role as Phil Coulson and the first season featured cameo appearances by Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson). Despite Marvel TV chief Jeph Loeb’s often-stated assurance, “It’s all connected,” the connection between the films and TV shows often felt tenuous. “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” even introduced a conspiracy that seemed to threaten the premise of “Agents of Shield.” “I think that’s pretty clear we’re the black sheep of the Marvel Universe,” actress Chloe Bennet, who plays Daisy Johnson aka “Quake,” told TheWrap. “I think everyone was aware of...

We’ve now got less than a month to go until Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns for its seventh and final season. And to mark the occasion, a new trailer has been released which teases Phil Coulson and his crew’s all-important final mission – they must change the past to save the future. In other words, it’s time for some time travel.
Unfortunately, this trailer isn’t exactly packed with fresh footage. The first minute or so is the same clip which was previously released as a sneak peek at last summer’s Comic-Con. It makes sense to repackage it in this teaser, though, as it neatly sums up the threat that the gang will be dealing with : the evil, face-stealing alien Chronicoms.
We then get a burst of shots showcasing the resurrected Coulson (Clark Gregg) – he’s an Lmd now, remember – and his gang – including Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet...

The final season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is just around the corner. The McU spinoff show has managed to exceed all expectations and last a whopping seven years, but it’s finally time for the program to call it a day. Not before delivering one last epic run of episodes, though, and this time, the crew will head back into the past in order to save the future. We now have a new promo as well which gives us a taste of their first steps into history.
The 26-second teaser is made up of a clip from the season premiere, showing Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet), Alphonso “Mack” Mackenzie (Henry Simmons), Deke Shaw (Jeff Ward), and Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) – who’s been resurrected in the form of a sophisticated Lmd replica, remember – arriving in 1930s New York. 1931, to be exact, as a poster for Bela Lugosi’s Dracula tells us.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is back one last time next month for its seventh and final season. A big reason for the show’s longevity is its ability to shake up its status quo every year, and sure enough, season 7 will do just that by seeing the resurrected Phil Coulson and his team traveling into the past in order to avert a dark future.
Earlier this month, we got our first teaser for the run in the form of a short clip that revealed Coulson being reborn as a sophisticated Lmd. Now, this new mini-trailer hints at the crew’s new mission: to journey back to the first half of the 20th century in order to ensure S.H.I.E.L.D. is created. However, the promo also reveals a huge hitch in this plan.

Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe looks to bring more new faces into the picture than we’ve seen for a long time, with The Eternals and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings marking the first time in a decade that two new franchises have been launched in the same year. Not to mention all the characters that are set to be introduced in the Disney Plus shows.
It isn’t exactly a clean slate, but the next few years nonetheless mark a brave new dawn for the McU, with Kevin Feige keen to push forward and expand the scope of the movies when it could have been all too easy to simply rest on their laurels and keep churning out formulaic sequels that are guaranteed to be box office hits.
