A new episode of Survivor 46 aired on Wednesday night. Would it feature another blindside?
The season has become known for blindside votes, including Tiffany Ervin going home with her Immunity Idol.
Only seven castaways remained for Survivor 46, Episode 11. They could nearly taste the upcoming finale night.
After Tiffany and Hunter McKnight got voted out with Idols in their pockets, the remaining players knew it was time to begin searching for Idols again.
Plus, it was likely that another Reward Challenge would happen, but it would be tough to duplicate the drama from the last one.
As a reminder, Liz Wilcox blew up on Q Burdette after he declined to invite her to an Applebee’s feast.

Survivor 46 has been a season of blindsides and Tiffany Ervin became the latest person to be surprised by her elimination.
With the castaways down to just eight people competing for the $1 million prize, Q Burdette was the vocalized target again.
Q became an even bigger target at the Reward Challenge when he didn’t select Liz Wilcox as one of the people to enjoy the Applebee’s feast.
But a plan was in motion thanks to Kenzie Petty, who feared that if she didn’t strike first, Tiffany would target her soon.
Despite everyone knowing Tiffany had the Hidden Immunity Idol, and despite Tiffany knowing that everyone knew, she kept it in her pocket during Tribal Council.
Tiffany made the same mistake that Hunter McKnight had made at the previous Tribal Council, and she joined him on the Survivor 46 jury.
Why didn’t Tiffany use her Immunity Idol on Survivor 46?

At the Tribal Council during the May 1 episode, Q again appeared to be the primary target, but a blindside was carried out to eliminate Tiffany instead.
Following her shocking elimination from the game, Tiffany shared thoughts about her time on Survivor 46. And it included a huge revelation.
According to Tiffany, Liz Wilcox had a chance to go to the Applebee’s feast, but Q stopped it from happening.

Liz Wilcox certainly had an intense episode of Survivor 46.
The latest episode showed her blowing up at Q Burdette following a Reward Challenge.
On the line was a feast sponsored by Applebee’s, which would give Liz some food she wasn’t allergic to.
Liz has struggled on Survivor 46 due to her allergies and coconut aversion.
After Q won the Reward Challenge, he got to select three people to join him. But he selected Kenzie Petty, Maria Gonzalez, and Tiffany Ervin.
Jeff asked Liz to share her emotions, and she exploded on Q, blaming him for her spot in the game and stating how hard it has been for her to go without food.

A new episode of the On Fire Podcast arrived Wednesday night. In it, Jeff Probst spoke about the meltdown fans had just witnessed on Survivor 46, Episode 10.

The new Survivor episode was big, with the final eight competing for a feast and then for Individual Immunity.
Hunter McKnight was voted out on the previous episode, in a re-vote after he was tied with Q Burdette. The final vote was 6-1 against Hunter.
What made it worse for Hunter was that he left the game with a Hidden Immunity Idol in his pocket. He had talked about using it but changed his mind before the vote.
Hunter became the third member of the Survivor jury, joining Soda Thompson and Tevin Davis on the outside.
It was the third straight jury member to have been blindsided, showing how much chaos had been happening.
Here’s why Hunter didn’t play his Immunity Idol. He shared his thoughts on social media after that fateful episode.

Saturday night in Hollywood, “Survivor” staged a massive Emmys For Your Consideration event featuring perennial host Jeff Probst, past contestants, authentic challenges, and island-themed drinks and bites. With the recent death of Sonja Christopher still on the minds of fans, Gold Derby chatted exclusively with Probst about his thoughts on the first-ever contestant to be voted off of CBS’s reality TV show.
“Every time I saw Sonja,” Probst remembered, “whether it was on the first season when she was tripping in the first challenge and that kind of doomed her, or when I would see her at ‘Survivor’ events, she was always joy, always happy, always wanting to know how you were doing. And I thought it was pretty interesting that first season, that the first person voted out was Sonja, who had recovered from cancer and came with her ukulele just to have some fun — and then the...

An original Survivor alum has passed away.
Sonja Christopher from the first season of Survivor has died.
Sonja was introduced to Survivor fans as a 63-year-old cancer Survivor from San Francisco. This was way back during Survivor: Borneo in 2000.
As part of the first Survivor cast, she was fun and known for strumming on her ukelele.
Unfortunately, Sonja was also the first person voted off Survivor, with the musician getting eliminated during the first-ever Survivor Tribal Council.
Her kindness shined through immediately, and it also led to an emotional response from host Jeff Probst when he had to snuff her torch.

Liz Wilcox from Survivor 46 shared a beautiful note about Sonja that revealed her recent passing.

Could the Survivor 46 castaways top the chaos of the previous episode?
A new Survivor 46 episode aired on Wednesday night, with the producers showing the fallout of that Tevin Davis blindside.
As a reminder, Q Burdette appeared ready to quit, even asking people to vote him out at the previous Tribal Council.
However, the people working with Q had other ideas, and after many conversations happening as host Jeff Probst watched on, an 8-2 vote sent Tevin to the jury.
Venus Vafa was pretty upset to see her name written down twice, even though one of them was Tevin. It means she had her sights set on Hunter McKnight, who had also voted against her.
Could Hunter prove how adept he was at playing Hide ‘N Seek by avoiding the wrath of Venus? Would he figure out how to stay safe, thanks partly to his Hidden Immunity Idol?

Survivor fans nearly saw another player quit the game, this time because he seemingly felt guilty for the chaos he caused ahead of the Tribal Council.
But was he trying to quit or using a strategy? Host Jeff Probst weighed in on Q Burdette’s nutty behavior and had an interesting take on what he saw in Fiji.
As a reminder, a new episode aired on April 17 that featured a shocking moment at the Tribal Council. While discussions about the upcoming vote were taking place, Q interrupted and suggested everyone vote him out.
He was feeling emotional about a recent conversation with Hunter McKnight and how he had revealed too much about plans that were in place for the elimination vote.
Q had first pressed for Tiffany Ervin to be voted out when he suspected Tiffany of turning against his six-person alliance. And when the vote shifted to Tevin Davis being the target,...

The recent New Jersey earthquake (a 4.8 on April 5) has led to people sharing videos of the Big Brother house going through earthquakes.
Since the Big Brother house is located in California, it isn’t rare for the players to experience the earth moving. But for some houseguests, it is the first time they have ever gone through one.
Luckily, no extensive damage has been sustained at the house during the various earthquakes, but it has led to some interesting moments on the Big Brother live feeds.
Live feed subscribers can watch online each season to see what the Big Brother players are up to in between episodes. That’s where juicy conversations and strategizing can take place.
And sometimes, the live feeds pick up something unexpected. We have had fans trying to yell information to houseguests, planes flying over the house with banners trailing, and even several kitchen fires.

Survivor 46 finally reached the phase where players had to “earn the merge.”
The new episode began with the three tribes receiving important Tree Mail indicating it was time to drop their buffs.
As Survivor fans know, this is when a tribe swap or merge takes place. And since they were past the point of doing a tribe swap (it didn’t happen this season), everyone knew what was next.
The three surviving members of the Yanu Tribe had some new life but were outnumbered. Siga and Nami each had five people who had made it to Merge Day.
Before meeting Jeff Probst, Yanu and Siga got in boats to head to the Nami beach. But at Nami, Hunter scrambled to find the key to his Hidden Immunity Idol box. The producers ramped up the drama, but Hunter found it just in time.

Down to only three members, as the new episode began, the Yanu Tribe was in trouble. Could Tiffany, Q, and Kenzie finally win an Immunity Challenge?
As if anyone even needs a reminder… Yanu lost the first four Immunity Challenges. They still didn’t have a flint and had to trade fish they won as a reward for camp supplies since they couldn’t cook it.
Bhanu claimed his tribe lacked empathy in an exit interview. He shared an interesting view of what happened in Fiji.

Bhanu Gopal had his Survivor 46 journey end on Wednesday night.
Though he made it through four episodes, Bhanu seemed at risk of elimination almost every week.
A very emotional player in Fiji, Bhanu also spoke some phrases that will stick with him forever.
One such phrase was when Bhanu suggested that he was more interested in winning one million hearts (from viewers) than the $1 million prize.
It didn’t help his cause that Bhanu was part of one of the weakest tribes (competition-wise) that the show had ever seen.
His Yanu Tribe lost four straight Immunity Challenges, sending them to the Tribal Council each week. The only thing that saved them during Episode 3 was the medical evacuation of Randen Montalvo.

Since the premier of Survivor season 44, we’ve been introduced to some pretty unique contestants. Carolyn Wiger makes people tune in for her silly antics, and Dr. Will is continuing to make a name for himself after appearing on other shows like Big Brother 2, and The Price is Right.
However, there’s only one contestant this season who managed the impressive task of raising $150,000 for coronavirus (Covid-19) relief in only two weeks. Her name is Claire Rafson, and she is clearly a force to be reckoned with.
