Ron Baldwin is a political consultant for national political candidates and a film and television producer and talent manager in the entertainment industry. Before his political and film and TV career, Ron worked in the music industry as both a writer/performer and as an A&R executive and talent manager. His company Solis Entertainment is developing and financing a slate of independent feature films and scripted and non-scripted episodic television programs for the U.S. and international markets. In partnership with 3 Arts Entertainment and Sony-TriStar Pictures, Solis is developing a scripted TV series, "The Awakening of Malcolm X" adapted from two novels authored by his management client, Ilyasah Shabazz, the daughter of Malcolm X and Betty Shabazz. Solis is also producing a documentary feature about the assassination of the president of Haiti, "The Anatomy of an Assassination" directed by Alex Winter. Ron is an Associate Producer on the film "Gonzo Girl" produced by Catch and Release Films and directed by Patricia Arquette. In the political arena, he was the founder and senior strategist during the 2020 election cycle for the Independent Expenditures group, E Pluribus Unum PAC supporting the presidential campaign of President Joe Biden. During the 2022 election cycle and for the 2024 cycle, he is a political consultant for several Democratic candidates for U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives. Ron also serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors for the non-profit organization, The Equal Rights Amendment Coalition. An alumnus of the University of California at Santa Cruz and the New School for Social Research, Ron holds a BA in political science. He earned his Master of Science in Behavioural Science from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
