On the final episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” which has run for 19 seasons, the longtime talk-show host took the time Thursday to speak directly to her viewers with a special goodbye message.
“To all of you who have watched this show and supported me, thank you so much for this platform,” she said. “And I hope what I’ve been able to do in the last 19 years has made you happy, and that I was able to take a little bit of pain away from a bad day or anything you were going through. I hope I was able to inspire you to make other people happy and to do good in the world. To feel like you have a purpose.”

Ellen DeGeneres had a special, and quite emotional, surprise for Stephen Boss (aka DJ tWitch) on Wednesday’s episode of “The Ellen Show,” which is its second-to-last.
The long-running talk show is set to end Thursday, and DeGeneres wanted to make sure that Boss, who has been the host’s sidekick since 2014, felt the love. Before introducing her next segment, DeGeneres asked Boss to come sit next to her on stage.
“I love you so much,” she said as Boss sat down, pointing out that it was “just a coincidence” that his mom and best friend were in the studio audience for that taping. She then rolled a heartfelt video tribute to her favorite fake DJ, which began with her tearing up as she said she didn’t want to say goodbye to her friend.

Exclusive: The Masked Dancer is set to finally waltz into the studio – albeit with a few more health and safety protocols than initially expected.
Deadline understands that the spin-off of Fox reality hit The Masked Singer is set to start shooting this weekend. It will shoot at Red Studios in Los Angeles, the same location where Fox recently shot the mystery singing talent competition.
The network will employ the same rigorous health and safety protocols that it put in place for The Masked Singer as well as I Can See Your Voice. The production will include regular testing, zoning, social distancing, sanitization and non-sharing of communal areas. Fox is working closely with local and state officials, including the Health Department, as well as the unions on protocols to make sure that the production environment is as safe as possible.

Clearly Ellen DeGeneres didn’t put as much thought into her “Masked Dancer” ripoff of Fox’s show “The Masked Singer” as they did with their costumes … like how someone hopes to breathe in those ridiculous masks.
“Since we haven’t been sued yet,” DeGeneres said on Monday, she decided to play another round “The Masked Dancer,” bringing out “Masked Singer” judge Ken Jeong and DJ tWitch to help guess who was disguised as a Pug wearing a Two Face suit. Yes, like the Batman villain.
The performance had the mystery guest gasping for air and quite literally panting on the ground after some goofy gyrating and even a famous move popularized by Curly on “The Three Stooges.” The dancer found themselves unable to breathe after the mouth to the rubber pug mask had closed up. Jeong then asked him, “What’s the one thing you can’t live without?...

What exactly are Johnno and Spanner? There are moments when the two Scottish teens hate each other’s guts with bilious fervor, others when they’re the “dream team and that,” inseparable and co-dependent best friends à la Diego Luna and Gael Garcia Bernal in Y Tu Mamá También, others still when their bromance veers into an uncharted, emotionally complex terrain. Brian Welsh’s rollicking Beats thrives on these ambiguities, on a greater-than-life friendship between an introvert and his volcanic and beguilingly ruffian neighbor as they brace for a night out that’s likely to be their last–or at any rate, the last rave their central Scotland turf may ever host.
