- My motivation isn't to prove the haters wrong, it's to prove the believers right.
- Weird rich, normal poor.
- If you want to be successful, you need to be resilient. You'll experience rejection, criticism, name calling, and people trying to drag you down if you let them.
- Why waltz with a man for 10 rounds when you can knock him out in one? Rocky Marciano
- Let people criticize. They're jealous, and for a good reason.
- Acting is a great outlet for me. I can lose myself to a character and get paid for it. As for who I am in real life, I still don't fully know. It changes everyday.
- I have always dreamed of acting alongside with Hollywood's biggest celebrities. I can thank God that my dream is coming true and my hard work and dedication is paying off.
- If they're not paying your bills, then they don't have any right to cut you down.
- If you can't please everybody, please yourself first.
- I didn't know much about writing at first. I was living with my parents and decided, one day, to just take a stab at it. I figured I had nothing to lose if I tried, since I was already poor.
- I thought, at first, the hardest part of writing a screenplay was the actual writing part. When that was done, the work that came after that was incomparable to the writing part of it.
- The more I wrote, the more I learned.
- I think, the hardest part of this job, is when you're not on set.
- I didn't have many friends growing up. I had mostly acquaintances. To this day, there are very few people I consider friends.
- I figured it'd be near impossible to break into Hollywood by acting alone. I then decided to go and create my own opportunity and write a few scripts. I thought I had enough experience to write some good stories.
- Sometimes you have to take a leap of faith first. The trust part comes after.
- Don't let yourself be fooled/discouraged by those who aren't successful. They're monkeys with a coconut.
- Sometimes, when you're stressed out, you just need to go away for a while and get away from everything/everyone. You'd be amazed at how much benefit it can have.
- I'm a devout Catholic, but I love to learn about different religions and cultures. When I'm really stressed and overwhelmed, I love to get away from everything, including my own faith and go somewhere I've never gone before and learn about a different culture. It's very beneficial.
- I was once at a period of time when I was feeling really low, to the point of it becoming very unhealthy. Then, I got called to a movie set and I heard that Robert Duvall was the director. I had always been a huge fan of his, and I thought that, if I went, it would help me get up out of my emotional dump. He was so kind and gracious and he made me feel better about myself, and here I was, at the time, a nobody. He was gracious enough to even give me a line in the film, when I was originally cast as an extra. He helped me to relax and to enjoy myself. It boosted my confidence and it was a turning point in my career and my own life, and for that, I am forever, truly grateful.
- I got sick of seeing my family struggle to make ends meet so I decided to write a script and do something about it.
- It's nice being on set because people treat you like family.
- Some people like to leave things to chance. I say screw it. Go and make your own chances.
- Some people like to leave things to chance. I say screw it. Go and make your own chances,
- One of the hardest parts about editing my scripts is figuring out what to cut. I don't like taking scenes out because I wrote them for a purpose that pertains to the storyline. But, in order to keep the interest of the people, I have to give them something that won't make them want to walk out of the theatre.
- When I was younger, I was told that I could be whoever and whatever I wanted to be. Growing up, my schoolmates didn't fully understand my thinking, therefore I would be judged constantly when I pretended to be whatever I wanted. The great thing about acting is that I truly can be whoever and whatever I want to be, and I know that I will not be judged for it. Alright, maybe I will be judged a little bit, but the beauty about it is that I didn't care when I was little, and I certainly don't care now. Here's to all of my fellow actors.
- I have great plans for my production company. Hollywood will soon be in the palm of my hand.
- If you loosen up, pretend you know what you're doing, and show that you enjoy doing what you're doing, you can be damn well sure that the audience will enjoy your performance too.
