Belén Sánchez is a Spanish-Argentinian Producer, raised in the Argentinian northwest, educated in Argentina and Europe after studying Psychology and Philosophy she finds her true calling in films.
When she was 25 she got her first job in the industry at Cromosoma. Cromosoma used to be one the largest animation studios of Spain, with also a passion for documentaries. Belén has worked there until 2011 when she decided to leave the company for attending the European Master in Audiovisual Management (MEGA PLUS) by the Media Business School and pursuing her career as Producer.
The MEGA leads her to an internship period at the Co-production Department of the ICAA (Spanish Film Institute) and immediately after, in 2012, she entered Rebelión Terrestre Film as Development Executive and Associate Producer. At Rebelión Terrestre she developed some horror, thrillers and fantastic films and premiered "The Last Days" (Alex & David Pastor) and "Summer Camp" (by Alberto Marini, 2015).
Belen leaves Rebelion Terrestre to launch her own company, Un Capricho de Producciones, with producer and writer Santi Suárez. Un Capricho is an adventure meant to co-produce films, TV and e-contents that focuses in experiences and authors with an outstanding point of view; stories that exhibit creativity, curiosity and (or at least) great sense of humor.
Until now Un Capricho has released several documentaries, feature films, short films and TV shows. Belén is involved in all the projects developed and produced by Un Capricho and collaborates as EP with other production companies such as Polar Star Films.
